Marco's in Lancaster

Lovely meal , menu had changed since last time , pre lockdown...I had been looking forward to the chicken livers starter too.They now have burgers on their menu and not all Italian.Lasagne looked like a small portion but was lovely, very filling and as much as I wanted to , couldn't finish it

You have to visit Marcos if you are visiting Lancaster. I have lived here 36 years and Marcus has always been there.great Italian food

Went yesterday with my sister and I have never experienced such poor customer service. We went as a nice treat out before going to the grand theatre but we’re left appalled. Raised a complaint with the cook and this was just dismissed in a huff and a roll of the eyes. Staff members were just plain rude. This used to be my favourite place to eat prior to covid but now it is just a disappointment. They were hardly rushed off their feet as it was only us two in the entire restaurant at 6 pm, we did wonder why it was so quiet at such a peak time but from our experience I am not surprised.

I tried it after looking at the reviews.Great food and good staff.We had pizza and it was very good at a good price.Lots of choice and the food coming out of the kitchen looked good.

Beautiful Evening at Marcos to celebrate my sons 16th. The staff were excellent and could not do enough for us, providing first class service despite it being a busy evening. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel valued by the friendly staff. The chef even put on a great pizza show for the little ones, such a fun thing to watch.Everything our table of thirteen ordered, went down a treat, it really was all delicious. The pizzas were fresh and perfectly created and the brisket pasta that I had was full of flavour; in fact it was one of best things I’ve ever tasted- highly recommended!Thank you so much for making Henry’s Birthday so special, we will hopefully be back soon, when next visiting family in Lancaster. Well done everyone you all did a great job x

Lovely food, great Atmosphere and very helpful staff.

What a disappointment. A table booked for 13 and food pre-ordered by our choosing to make things easier on the kitchen.The food was exquisite, served quickly and hot with good portions. Sadly that is as far as the good points go.It was clear from the offing that our party that was mostly made up of children was not welcome. We were left without drinks until we asked more than halfway through the mains and we were blamed for their mistake with our order that we clearly had written up using their spellings and names so as to avoid confusion.The meal was for a 16th birthday the cake was brought out with the sparkling candles already spent , no knife or plates. It was clear we were expected to leave.For a place claiming to be a family restaurant we were made to feel.like utter pariah for having children present. To be clear it was 6pm, prime family time.Needless to say we won't be returning. Only gave 2 stars for the good food as it cannot be denied it was delicious and well priced.

My trip to Marco's was impromptu, but the staff were very accommodating, finding room for my party without a reservation.The atmosphere is delightful. There is plenty if space between the tables. At no point during our visit did I feel anyone encroached on our space. It's really reassuring to see covid measures in place, without being intrusive.The food was piping hot and is clearly freshly prepared. There's plenty if choice on the menu, but not so much you feel overwhelmed. I guess this contributes to fresh food being served promptly.

Lovely authentic Italian Restaurant. The food was amazing. We had pasta parcels stuffed with lobster, pasta with slow cooked beef brisket. Both stunning. We also ordered a meat feast pizza which was forgotten. The waiter was so apologetic and knocked it off the bill, although it arrived really quickly. Would definitely recommend Marcos.

I love the food at Marco's, they have been a godsend to me over the months of covid. I'm appreciative of the high standard of not only the meals themselves but also the speed and friendly nature of their drivers. The lady who delivered food to me last night and tonight is a great example of that.I tried the rabbit dish tonight after a long time rejecting the idea of eating that particular meat but the meal tonight changed my mind about it.
