On a positive, I tried a bit of the plant burger my daughter bought. It was very impressive, it really did taste like meat. On a negative, the McDonalds at Cleveleys is tiny and quite claustrophobic, for me, it wasn't a pleasant experience. Also the digital menus are right by the front door which just generates a mass of people at the entry/exit.

Absolute Rip OffWhat an absolute rip off this place is. We were visiting Lamcaster and based on google reviews I decided we should try this as it said "authentic Turkish Food". The food was so expensive and the quantity was too little. On top of that it was bland. We ordered Chicken Shish, Teriyaki Chicken and Margarita Pizza. Sad to say all of them tasted nothing like the actual flavour of these dishes. V v bad experience. Paid a total of £50 with drinks and regretted it so much. The restaurant itself is so small and there is nothing that can justify the prices they are charging. AVOID is all I would say.

We both ordered hummus which was served with 2 olives and a 2 inch cube of bread, no salad £5.95. I asked for more bread as I can't eat just hummus. More bread arrived which they later charged £3.85 for. After I complained about that the cost was taken off. My pizza was dull I'm afraid. I won't be returning

Had lunch there. Really nice menu. Food and coffee were great. Good price for the size of lunch. Would recommend and go back

We visited here for lunch on Sunday afternoon. This was our second visit and it was just as good as our first. We had a chicken wrap and a halloumi wrap. Both came with plenty of chips. Service was quick and friendly. We would definitely recommend and would definitely visit again but maybe try an evening meal next time.

Great tasty food. We called in on the off chance before going to the Grand and was really impressed. The place had a good buzz with plenty people in there, service was prompt and the food came quickly. I had veggie moussaka and it was REALLY good, very tasty, authentic and came with bulghar wheat side and salad. I would definitely visit again if I happened to be in Lancaster.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!The worst, baffling and frustrating dining experience ever!Visited as a family on a Saturday in January during lunchtime and it was fairly quiet. We waited by the door to be seated and noticed the spectacles wearing manager/owner who was sitting at a table by the till/bar. He appeared grumpy and although he noticed, instead of seating us he stood up and wondered off whilst the only two other members of waiting staff were serving. The waitress came over after serving one of the tables to seat us. We ordered hot drinks to start with. My cup was dirty and heavily marked which we politely brought to the waitress' attention, without causing a scene (especially as there's a pandemic going on and there's a possibility of breakout from dirty crockery and utensils). She apologized and replaced the drink.Although we were having doubts whether to continue eating there as we were already seated we proceeded to place our order from the lunch menu, keeping it to a minimum. We ordered two mains and a starter plus a side. We asked for everything to be served together as we were sharing. The dishes however didn't come out together as requested so we took our time with whatever we got to begin with. By the time we got everything, what should have been hot was lukewarm.I struggled to chew the only lamb chop from my meat platter and it looked barely cooked and was practically raw inside. I was saving it till last to enjoy but little did I know!I gently mentioned this to the waitress who apologized but didn't offer to have it replaced. The manager was pacing to-and-fro grumpily, heard our conversation and even went to the kitchen but not once did he approach us to ask if everything was ok or to apologize. We also heard him tell the waitress to mention it to the chef. Our bill came to £45. There was no reduction nor any apology. The owner/manager was still at his table, by now with an acquaintance.I asked the waitress to speak to the manager which he heard but ignored (he was a mere meter or so from our table) She responded with a "yeah," gestured in the manager's direction then went off.I approached him politely and informed him of the issue. He was extremely rude, dismissive, defensive and argumentative. He basically told me "that's how you eat meat" and that he had checked it but there was nothing wrong with it and I should have asked for it well done! I realized at this point that he'd heard my wife and I talking that we should have asked for well done meat.My wife mentioned her drink, to which his reply was "why are you telling me?! Tell her (the waitress)! Then, in front of other guests he started shouting at the waitress. My wife asked him not to do that and that the waitress was fine and doing her job pleasantly but he on the other hand, needed customer service training. We were not only frustrated but exasperated by this point. However, he continued arguing and later on insisting that he wasn't the manager/owner, that he was "nothing" and basically told us to "do whatever you want" when we mentioned that we'd be sharing our experience.Suffice to say that this was the worst dining experience in our entire lives! NEVER EVER AGAIN!

1st visit and had Great food and friendly staff a little rushed in trying to take away plates and boards while we were still eating from them but overall a wonderful gem in the center of Lancaster a return visit very soon

We chose this restaurant as visitors of the town wanted to try something better compared to typical pub food. We had the mix grill for 2 persons which costs 36 pounds, an expected price for a restaurant. The quantity for two persons was small. In addition, the quality was nothing much better than a pub's kitchen fast food option. The potatoes were pre-fried and frozen, the rice was cold. On the menu, it is stated that all dishes are served with fries/rice and salad. The salad for two persons was 2 leaves of lettuce and 1 or 2 slices of tomato. Most of the meat was ridiculously small pieces and mediocre in quality except lamb chop which was very tasty but still small. To sum up, if you want someone to spend 36 pounds on this small quantity, they expect to see the good quality in food or else keep pub prices.

Just had lunch here. Really great food, fantastic and friendly service. Wide choices too. Toilets are really nice and clean aswell - always a good sign of a well run business.
