Potts' Pies in Lancaster

Bought a hot pie, or so I thought out of the heated display cabinet, pastry was warm meat inside was stone cold.

Lovely food just what you need to wake you up

ordered well done bacon got boiled bacon instead. would not recommend at all wouldn't even feed it to the seagulls

Luke warm pie thats shrunk since my last visit. If you want a proper potts pie i suggest you drive to lancaster rd morecambe and visit sues pies.

The food options go beyond just the pies with other items available including jacket potatoes, sandwiches, cakes, biscuits and so on. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the store is kept clean. The pies are of a reasonable quality, not exceptional, but still nevertheless filling as a pie should be. If you are after a no fuss but still decent pie selection then pay Potts Pies a visit.

Not being local I drove around finding a Butty shop for my morning sandwich. I came across potts pies and noticed they did sandwiches.I ordered a well done bacon sausage and egg baton. With red sauce and a can of coke.Over 10mins later it was handed back to me. Although red hot, the sausage was square cut in half and dry....not proper sausages and the bacon wasn't well done....still fatty. The egg yolks were rock hard and hardly any red sauce on. I really didn't enjoy the dryness of the sandwich. I was gasping for a drink of the ice cold coke I got aswel, which was the best part of this experience.Will be looking for another sandwich shop if I am ever back in the area.

I would love to see the owner cut and eat one of their own pies with their pathetic excuse of a knife and fork. The fork would not get through the pastry without buckling. Never again.

Absolutely awful ordered pie peas and gravy everything was cool, pies were in a chiller so had to be warmed gravy was granules and peas were dried never again will I be getting from here

I used to buy Potts pies 20 years ago,and thought they were wonderful. I bought a couple of meat and potato pies last week and shall not do so again.They were awful,with a tasteless mushy filling, couldn't have cost more than 20 p to produce, and ended up being thrown away,as did the equally inedible steak pie I bought,each of which cost £2.50. No more, thank you. The worst of it was the disappointment- your pasties were amazing( discontinued). You need to get your act together and try to get back your original standards.A disgruntled customer
