Ruby spice in Lancaster

Only gave it a one star as I couldn't post a zero... poor service... food was nearly 2 hours late and freezing cold.. don't order .. I do not recommend

Terrible experience overall. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Ordered food around 6pm and it did not even come until 9:30pm!!!! Not only did they come late, they forgot all of the drinks. When unboxing the food we also came to realize that they messed up our orders. When the lady came back with the drinks, they were also the wrong order. On top of all of this, the food was garbage. Cold and stale tasting. I have no idea how this place is still in business, they should consider a new career path in life.

The food was 1hour late! My daughter's pizza was almost cold and had to go in the oven to be heated up. We where given 3 order times before it eventually arrived and when we spoke to the manager to ask for a discount he said no never! He was very apologetic though. We will not be getting food from there again POOR SERVICE!

so my partner ordered food like 3 hours ago we had to keep ringing to find out everytime it was 10 minutes away 😂😂 finally got here at 3.30am!! for the food to be stone cold, sent it back we rang them and explained the situation they hung up. rang back 10 minds after and they said well what would you like me to do you will have to sort it tomos after trying to tell us the delivery guy didnt except it back luckily we have cameras and made it very clear he did. will be posting a bad review on just eat and explaining to my community how bad a rude they truly are! would avoid completely.

My son ordered 2 meals + mint sauce, mango chutney, and 7 chapattis, there were no chapattis, why spoil the meal,it was delivered to morecambe at 845pm. tonight,and I had lamb organ josh,there was harly any meat.Not a good review sorry.

After 1 hour of wait, I get a phone call telling me that they ran out of samosas (the whole point of my order) Why wait one hour to tell me that? Not happy. I am sure they can cook food (I had some pay and collect pizzas before which were good) but the place needs a serious shake up. And with the deserved sea of negative reviews on here, I doubt people want to give them a chance. I myself wish I had read the reviews before hand.

Genuinely don't order from here, don't trust "scott" and his 5 star reviews. This place makes worse food than i have ever tasted, had they just not cooked it and sent the raw ingredients it would have tasted better as raw potato and spinach. Amazing just how bad someone can mess up.

Ordered food from this takeaway via Just Eat, we received a beef burger rather than a chicken burger and didn't receive rice with my meal.Tried ringing them repeatedly to no avail. Tried to reorder the meal via Just Eat and left a note that we didn't want the full order, just wanted the rice and chicken burger. Totally ignored. Why would anyone want to order from here after the bad reviews is beyond me.Wont order again.

As the reviews show, this 'takeaway' (it cannot be called that at ALL) should be avoided in all instances! I would avoid this place like the plague. In fact, I would rather catch the plague than ever eat here again. Firstly, the food was 1.5 hours later and to top it off, it was burnt and tasted absolutely disgusting. We put the chips and the garlic bread in the bin because even the dog would not touch it! The delivery man gave the food to the my friend and then walked off to his car and left. He did not ask for any money. We just assumed that this was because the service was horrendous and the food was burnt. Four hours later - I receive three harassing phone calls in the space of 10 minutes and a 'lovely' voicemail. Not only that, the same night this man comes knocking on the door late at night (about 10:30pm on Friday) asking for his money (I was not in at the time). He continued his harassment today just after 8pm on Sunday by knocking on the door again. Police have been informed as this is unacceptable behaviour. I do have phone calls to show them and five witnesses (including myself). If you actually answered my phone calls in the first place, there would have been ZERO need for this.

Me and my partner got board of having the same foods from the same take aways so we cam across this one as she loves her curries and I didn't fancy one. Arrived over an hour and half late with missing items. They said they had delivered to number 6 which was a complete lie .Chicken over cooked curry watery and rice hard . All in all worst takeaway I've had in Lancaster and I've ordered a lot1st and last time. Urban spice is a disgrace I wouldn't even bother thinking of ordering from here
