Slyne Lodge Restaurant in Lancaster

A huge thank you to Sonia and her husband at the Lodge for making us so welcome during our short stay and for making our small function following a funeral a very memorable occasion. We couldn’t have been looked after better and their personal attention to detail and willingness to make us all feel so at home was wonderful. All food provided was very good and I would recommend this venue wholeheartedly.

Wow called in on the of chance Sonya and her husband and chef how friendly they only took over the place 3 days ago have 3 kids and still living out of boxesSonya head waitress cook and bottle washer so we was not expecting much but so hard working family business We both had the Rib Eye stake and wow what a surprise food was to die for not like the previous owners who you never saw great quiet atmosphere can't recommend the food highly enough best perfect steak I have ever had and I consider myself a bit of a conosir when it comes to steak. We had a snowy walk over the fields from Lancaster and called into the Lodge for hot chocolate. The atmosphere couldn't have been more welcoming. Our hot chocolates were delicious and Will, the manager was so helpful. This venue is a great find and we'll be going back for dinner very soon!

Friendly welcome by the waitress/bartender. Nice relaxed interior, havn't been for some time so was a bit shocked at the prices compared to other local options. Food was good but not worth that price sadly.

Visited for lunch the other day. It was our first time here and we all enjoyed the food. Service was great. The restaurant and toilets very clean. We sat outside first and had a drink before going to sit in for our food. Lovely outdoor area and a couple of swings round the corner for the kids

The food was excellent, enjoyed a lovely meal. The only constructive criticism I could give is that some areas look ready for a lick of paint. However, great service and very friendly staff 😊

Absolutely fabulous food - well presented, fresh and really tasty. Our first visit and we'll definitely make a special trip to go out there again. Well done all the staff!

Nice clean place to stay and generous tray of biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in our room. Shower was slightly cold but after about 5-8 minutes it heated right up nice free shampoo. Finally a room with enough areas for charging phones! Very friendly and helpful staff that explained all covid rules, showed us to our room and gave us a short but sweet tour.My only complaint and reason for a missing star was quite expensive food but this is expected in a hotel / lodge and the food was really nice so can't really complain.Would visit again.

Not been here for a good few years. The staff were friendly and the food was value for money and a lot of it. We hadn't booked as hadn't planned on eating out but they were able to fit us in anyway.
