As someone who frequents Indian / Pakistani restaurants, this experience was underwhelming. If you have grown up around this cuisine then you will most likely find the food bland. 2 stars because everything was cooked well but just lacked overall flavour.

We went to Sultan last night as we hadn't been for nearly a year. The service was good, the food was excellent (we had the salmon special dish and the prawn pathia), and the owner came over for a good chat as well. It was nice to see quite a few tables full for a Tuesday evening. Recommended.

The people are fun, the building is beautiful, the food is excellent. I had a mix kebab to start and salmon massala as a main, my wife had a prawn puri and chicken mango exotic. We were both very pleased with what we received and we'd be very pleased to return here if we're in Lancaster again.

Just been informed by the restaurant that there’s a £5 delivery charge for takeawaysExcessive I think for a local delivery particularly when I make a point of tipping the drivers well.Used this restaurant for years but this revelation will discontinue that relationship with immediate effect

It's very spacious and has a nice interior. The food is tasty and the portions are quite big. We ordered a mango and rose lasso as a drink. We did not specify the size of the drinks so the waiter brought us the bigger sizes. It would have been nice to be asked first. I felt a bit tricked.

Wow what can I say. Great food at an affordable price. Easy to book a table via the website. If you are in Lancaster or looking for an authentic Indian meal you will not go wrong giving this place a try This was our first visit but definitely not our last. Look out for Ash the manager he is the perfect host and just tops off a great experience.

The best Indian we have had yet. The nan bread literally falls apart in your mouth and is full of flavour. The prices on the happy hour seem too good to be true, £12.95 includes a curry nan bread poppadoms chutney and a starter. 100% recommended. Extremely nice staff

This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. I used to go there as a student in Lancaster, and now when I go to London for my job I am enticed to come back to Lancaster partly for the amazing food, service and mood of this wonderful place. I celebrated my birthday, graduation there.. I recommend it 150%.

Friendly staffs, great taste and active restaurant. Every dish that I have tasted from this restaurant, I can guarantee how neat and tidy the chefs have put into the food. I really appreciate this kind of restaurant, after a dinner I also have talked and discussed something there for hours with happiness.
