T'Other Chippy in Lancaster

Wasn’t exactly the best thing I’ve eaten, curry sauce was cold, chips were too salty and the bun was on its way out and was hard/crusty. Wouldn't visit any time soon

Fantastic chippy. Their chips taste just the way chips should. Proper texture---enough squidgy to crunch ratio. And the fat on the chips also tastes great, not over used or underused. Perfect.

Probably the best chippy in Carnforth, although the service can be a little slow.

Went in ordered quite a big order went home I don’t just live around the corner they missed fish chips peas and gravy they do not answer the phone to resolve it fuming

Really great chips! We were served by a young lad who was brilliant and really helpful. Thank you to him. Highly recommended.

Not normally a fish man, but I went for a battered fish this time and it was really well done. Very nice. Friendly staff too.

stopped here august cycling down a6 well worth stopping very good quality and quick service

Staying in the area for a family getaway, ordered and paid, no issues. Member of staff serving told us that everything was correct and in our bag, after being reminded about two sausages that were ordered but werent seen to be done. Were reassured that the order was complete. We got back to our accommodation and missing from our order was the 2 sausages, portion of chips, and a carton of curry sauce. Granted, we should have checked ourselves but when a member of staff tells us twice that it’s all in the bag, you kinda just take their word for it. Highly disappointing and the only negative blotch on what has otherwise been a fab few days in the area. Likely to go elsewhere next time.

Fish was fine as it had just been done. However chips were soggy and greasy as they had been left hanging around too long. Will not go again.

Google says open until 8pm. We arrived at 7:10pm on Wednesday and the place was closed. Disappointing! We'd love to have reviewed the food bud didn't get the chance. Please update Google (it's not difficult) or stay open until the time advertised.
