Nice little cafe with some very tasty looking cakes and pies

Our first visit to cafe today great welcoming staff and good coffee and first class sausage rolls .Will definitely go back great find 👍

Best steak pie I've ever had,loved it so much went back for another !

Nice village cafe with a good selection of cakes and pies (which I'll try if I get a chance to come back). They do a nice milkshake too and staff are nice & friendly.My slight disappointment was a lack of breakfast options for a weekend, which seemed to be limited to sausage/bacon rolls. There seemed to be nowhere in the village to get a croissant, for example, with your choice other than at the Co-op.

Small locally run cafe with good cakes and rolls etc.Except don't go on a Tuesday.as the kitchen isn't open and they can't serve all the menu on the board. The blackboard needs to have something pinned across it to say so. Poor lady was run off her feet, she had no time to clear tables as she was the only one serving etc, consiquentaly the place looked a mess.

Fantastic little find. Great food, great owner/staff. Would highly recommend. Reasonably priced too .

This was such a lovely find. We were travelling home from The Lake District and took a slight de-tour to Silverdale... we are so glad that we did. We received a lovely warm welcome and the food was so yummy. The cakes and pies looked delicious and we took X3 homemade cakes away (Raspberry Ripple, Tiffin and Orange Cake) which all were absolutely delicious. Completely recommend! 🌟

Always friendly and welcoming, fabulous homemade cakes, pies and sausage rolls. Delicious coffee and hot chocolate, the best in the area!

3 stars as choice limited to only coffee/ tea and cakes on menu for that day. 4 star as they were opened till 3 pm Fri. Limited space to only 9 people sit down service inside. Outside sitting for 4-6 . Toilet on same level as cafe. Services quick and efficient. Card payment only. Recommended if only wanting a quick drink. Otherwise bring your own picnic as there are lots of benches to sit on along the trails and pathways.
