Was booked in for Mother’s Day TODAY 25 of us going all ready and get a call to say the chef hasn’t turned in. Great! NOT! full family disappointed ☹️ only gave 1 star so I could post a review

This is a great pub not your upmarket one, but great staff so friendly, can't do enough for you kids welcome and friendly pets.The food is also great not a massive menu but enough.What I like most is that it's all fresh and no microwave food .Proberbly more of a local but excellent all roundGood decor as well.

Love this pub, great entertainment, the landlord works hard to make this a popular pub. Caters to all. You should give it a ago.

Rudely spoken to by a local to the pub about children, after 1 drink asked to leave very disappointing as we had been at a family occasion spoilt the atmosphere will no return

Had my Mother's wake here today,the food was excellent the waitresses gave us their all attention everything was very well organised. Thank you also to Marc the Manager.

Loved this place, but not been in since new tenants arrived.I can't believe how much the meal prices have risen.A 65p packet of crisps....cost me a £1 !!!!!!!!!!On the plus side....DJ and music, top class.Will visit again, but for drinks only.

Had a great day at the George today. Staff very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely amaze balls. We had a lamb dinner and it was just totally delicious. Every element was perfect from the lamb right down to the swede. I don't even like swede but it was lovely and sweet. Highly recommend.

Called in here for a couple of pints and gin and tonic for mrs on the way home as this is a cask marque accredited pub. new bar staff on duty and we're not properly trained had to ask for ice and lemon in the G+T. the place is very well set out and groups of locals in each area having fun also singing and dancing
