The George & Dragon in Lancaster

One of the very few proper pubs left.

Brilliant little pub with plenty of character...staff are nice and has a good selection of ales and beers..dog friendly too!

Welcoming, good beer, comfy sofa and warm. Nice traditional pub

Warm & friendly atmosphere. Same goes for the service.

Nice little escape from the busy centre of the city during the Music Festival. Cozy and nice. Friendly staff, will definitely return one day.

Big big improvement since we were Last in, appears to have been refurbished, it was a little drab and dreary, now it's a lovely warm welcoming pub, staff very friendly, beer good especially John Smith's, but it always was according to my partner

Lovely pub with a nice outdoor area. It was great to sit on the sunshine people watching. The landlord and his wife were very friendly. The landlord came to chat to us about his pub and where he previously worked in Preston. They weren’t serving food today but the landlady said the kitchen would be open Sunday. When we left the pub we walked along the front to head back into the city. A very pleasant visit.
