Unfortunately, we had an incredibly disappointing experience when we ate here over the weekend. The service was beyond dreadful, and our food took over an hour and a half to arrive. Staff were inattentive at best, with one member of staff being decidedly frosty when we had questions about the menu. Drinks requests were ignored - we had to go up to the bar and request/collect them there ourselves. There is absolutely no way we’d consider returning.

The food was as expected and all our party of 5 enjoyed their meals. Due to it being a busy bank holiday some items had sold out but this wasn't a problem. The staff are a credit to the company, everyone was very attentive and extremely pleasant. Will definitely return.

Very relaxing decor and atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and the food was good. Selection of veggie options to suit me. Portions were smaller than expected. But wouldn't put me off visiting again.

Lovely place inside and out. Staff are fab unfortunately the food let's it down......one meal sent back gammon very overcooked, replaced and taken off the bill with an extra 20% which was lovely. We also had 2 fish and chips, fish wasn't the best but edible. Very small portions on the 2 fish and chips we had around 12 chips each.....I would definitely visit in the sunshine for a lovely glass of wine in the beautiful outdoor area.....for food well I'm not so sure

This place oozes amazing 🤩The food is absolutely amazing! It’s then topped off with 10/10 outstanding 5*+ service from Joe.Joe embodies what good customer service looks like. So friendly and a great ambassador for Greene King. Pleasure to have him looking after us. And the final cherry on the cake which makes it an all round all star choice is- it’s dog friendly!!! Xx

Lovely place to come with my Mum!It's become her go-to place when meeting up with her 80s friends, The Slyne Babes😄👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻👵🏻We booked on the way via an automated booking system - apparently you say "Manager" if you actually want to speak to a person to find out how busy they are!Fortunately, they weren't busy. However, would've preferred a table for four, for the two of us, as we were either going to be right by the freezing doors or by the ladies' toilets which was also drafty! My Mum did move her chair round.Rather a long wait for food, considering it was quite quiet (had heard this from various people). Mum had lasagne as they didn't have the curry she was looking forward to, and wasn't overly impressed with it, as it tasted just like a heated up ready-meal, but OK.My gammon was DELICIOUS!!!! It had a coke and whisky sauce to pour over which was wonderful!!! I could've eaten a bowl full🧡🖤We were very full but after a short break we had the mini pudding and a hot chocolate !!Lovely staff, especially the Manager who explained how to contact the pub directly😌and was very friendly and helpful.

I really enjoyed this place and appreciated the sense of space inside and out. We sat by the firepit initially, which gave off enough heat if you sat at a safe distance. Inside the staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu had plenty of choice and the food was tasty and fairly priced. The festive decor was tastefully done and public areas were clean and tidy. All in all a good place to dine in comfort.

Great staff and nice surroundings. But no one enjoyed their meal . I dont know if we turned up on a bad day but the food was very poor. It all tasted as if it had just come out of a freezer and been fried or microwaved. We left feeling we should have spent our money elsewhere. Which was a real shame as the place had a lovely ambience and the staff were very friendly and attentive.
