Fabulous local, light and airy with good beer and friendly staff. Only trouble was I picked the only day they weren't doing food. Oh well, I'll have to go back 👍

We arrived at the Malt Shovel Inn, Warton and they prepared food for us specially. Although there was a wait it past quick and our fish and chips were delicious and obviously freshly cooked.A great atmosphere, very friendly worth a visit

Friendly staff and a Landlord with a sense of humour. Tasty food too. The tuna, onion and capers on brown bread with chips may be a simple snack, but it was delicious. 😋

This place is a real hidden gem! Everyone, staff and regulars alike, were warm and friendly. They really looked after us, especially the young lad behind the bar and the landlord, when choosing the food, made sure out little girls main meal came with the starters, and the food was excellent.Well done and thank you.

This pub/restaurant had been recommended to us by some friends. We had lunch there this week and we weren't disappointed. Excellent food and a good choice of draft beers. Our thanks to Linda for making us feel so welcome. We will certainly return very soon and will have no hesitation in recommending The Malt Shovel to anybody wanting good food at reasonable prices. Thanks to all staff. See you all soon.Chris and Christine
