The Royal Bar in Lancaster

Went for Sunday lunch and was very disappointed. Served luke warm and certainly not worth £13. I left still hungry. It used to be so good as well

Had Sunday roast, beautifully presented, flavour outstanding, service impeccable, can't complain, well done x

Our room was freezing on arrival. Had to put the heater on and go into the bar to warm up whilst the room heated up. Room very small. Glasses in the bathroom were dirty. Took ages to get hot water running in the shower.Bed very comfortable and pillows are good.£90 for one nights stay without parking. In my opinion it wasn't value for money.Bar itself is very nice and staff really helpful

Loved this bar food looked delicious and smelt divine, great atmosphere and staff were friendly and welcoming. You gotta visit here...

The Royal Hotel and Bar is one of the finest hotels in Lancaster! My family and I were in town for 5 days and stayed here for the entire duration of our trip. The staff are amazing, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the location is perfect! It is located downtown, which means ease of access to stores :)

Just back home from staying at the Royal for our anniversary weekend. Rooms are spotless and the staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for you. Stopped for Sunday lunch which was amazing. Complements to the chef.

Room looked nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and heat, the towels were big and soft. Hot drinks facilities were stocked well and a few complementary breakfast items were provided.The bar was nice with a good selection of reasonably priced drinks, the staff were helpful and friendly and it's close to both the train and bus station.

Awesome staff, simple clean and comfortable room at a great price. Great telly. Free cereals and porridge for breakfast. Had Motorhead pale ale on tap. Amazing!

Lovely place! Nice decor, nice staff. Haven't tried the food yet, but it does look nice!

Walked in completely unplanned, just needed a drink and some food.Amazing customer service, food was absolutely awesome and the portion sizes are just what you need to fuel a day!Will definitely be visiting again and may even stay in the hotel too.
