Exceptional vegetarian and vegan fare in a serene, slightly hidden spot. A haven of tranquility and fine victuals, right in the city centre. Even if your diet ordinarily includes meat, do give this place a whirl. I guarantee that the friendly, helpful people here will recommend something wholesome and satisfying. The Homity Pie is indescribably brilliant. The selection of cakes (all vegan) is enough to please the most ardent dessert fan. The Bakewell Tart provides a positively transcendental experience. Alongside the delicious food, there is a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including a great selection of Fentiman's brews. All in all, one of the best places to unwind and indulge that I've ever found.

A lovely little eatery. The cakes were delicious and a good sized slice. The menu looked very nice and I will be returning.

Such a great place, tucked away behind a side street. Better for small groups as the seating is limited (and the cafe is popular!) but it's an intimate feel and friendly welcome that you get hereThe food is also incredible - fresh, generous, colourful and tasty. You can not go wrong choosing to dine here for lunch.

Really good food. Could have easily been a five star experience but service brought out due down a star for me. My wife asked for ketchup when our food was served. The server motioned to where the ketchup was and said help yourself. We happened to be sat right by it and she could have just reached it and handed it to my wife but instead made my wife get up.

I wanted to try this place since I came to Lancaster for uni in 2015! I finally tried it and instantly regretted not visiting sooner.The cafe is really welcoming and the menu is brilliant. Local, good quality ingredients, broad range of choice from soul food to healthy options (all veggie) and lovely staff.Brilliant for veggies, vegans and anyone who likes good food.I got the seitan burger with chips and salad. It was delicious, you can taste the quality of the ingredients! Generous portions (maybe could do with less chips but not complaining!) at a reasonable price 🥦🍎
