Whoop Hall Inn in Lancaster

Very dated rooms, not too clean either. No food available. Owner very rude. On the bright side a lovely log fire was burning in the empty bar.

I stayed here well for a few hours on Friday 18th we were due to be staying until the Sunday however my daughter was taken ill literally 3-4 hours after being there and we had to leave - now i asked at reception would they maybe refund half the stay due to these unforseen circumstances as my two year old is now on her way to A and E - I was informed they will sell the room on or either way they would refund the day at least - it is now Sunday and they are not doing anything and even accusing me of blackmail as i told them i would write a review - customer care and service ATROCIOUS!! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AT ALL COST Jo was the person we dealt with!!!

If you like peace and quiet place to stay in plus great customer service...that's the right place for you,plus stunning countryside around....if you like parties and expect your nails to be done by the housekeeping then just go somewhere else...I will be definitely back

Very dated and dirty .It would appear the owner has no interest in the place, other than it is place where he can extract money from the customers.The photos that are used. to advertise whop hall are from a different decade.We were told there was no food available because he would have to pay for a chef. Not that we would have eaten there I’d dread to think what the kitchen was like judging by the state of the rooms.This place is clearly on its last legsDO NO EVEN THICK ABOUT STAY HERE!!!

It was ok, there were wasps everywhere in the room, dried blood in the bath, no heating, But nice location, lovely pool, sauna and steam room , but it was right by a road where a-lot of trucks pass, so overall it was not good at all

Spider Web right across the window with 2 flys in, dead flys everywhere in the room, a white tablet in the draw crunched into powder so can't identify what it was, dog hairs all over the carpet, the charged £22 for a £6 bottle rose.Looked so lovely on the pics and website, staff friendly and nice but obviously the cleaners are terrible. Never again

The team put on a great spread for a large group of diners and did a fantastic job. Nothing was too much trouble, a really friendly atmosphere and the food was excellent. Thank you.

Awful. Heating in room didn't work. Bathroom had dirty grout, cracked ceiling plaster discoloured bath. Mattress was so thin I could feel the springs. If this is a 3 star hotel, I'll pass next time. In a word...grim. Not worth 1 star but can't post otherwise.

Completely outwardly RACIST establishment, Older man working at the desk was so unbelievably rude, Whoop Hall themselves listed themselves on Wowcher, upon requesting a plate from the hotel to put some food in, I was told by him 'No I will not give you a plate for you to put your stinky curry in' and stink up the room, you guys buy off wowcher then expect the world', trying to ridicule me for using wowcher. left half way through my stay due to the disgusting discriminatory behaviour from staff. The room was also beyond run down and I was offered alcohol upon arrival and I declined as I am muslim, I was told 'what is wrong with you?' which was incredibly disgusting, would give 0 stars if I could. APPALLING 0*

The mattress was that soft you were just lying on the bed frame, but it was clean. So out of date the bathroom looked dirty.Parking was good and the location is nice. It does have such potential
