Excellent place for lunch... Cheaper price but quality is outstanding... Must try : Mutton Rogan josh. Staffs are always in smiling face.. Great ambient environment. Highly recommended.

I’ve never had Indian food before, and was pleasantly surprised with Akshaya. Though the kitchen couldn’t guarantee there would be no contamination of nuts to cater for my allergies, the staff were still helpful to assure me that the food was safe to eat. I had a lovely potato curry and rice that was, though a little spicy, very different to my usual tastes but absolutely delicious.The extravagant exterior of the restaurant is only overshadowed by the incredible interior design of the restaurant that sent me into an amiable mood. The mango lassi is a must-try here; a refreshing drink after a long workout.Akshaya was a great introduction to South Indian cuisine and I can’t wait to try more of their menu again!

We are planning on having a group meal out. We wanted to know how it's like inside. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner and the manager. Warm reception from both end. Place is nice, decent and relaxing. We had coffee and a drink on our first visit. It was so relaxing. I have had few people commenting on the food. So we have a planned dine out soon . Parking is available on site. Disable toilet, clean and decent with good space.Will tell all about it once we've had our meal. But definitely a place to try out.

It’s my humble opinion (IMHO) but I think it is the Best Asian food restaurant in Liverpool! The curries are very tasty, I actually think their entire menu is worth a try! I am a fan of this place and I fully recommend it!

Food is good but slow and rushed service. They want to take the plates away even before you finish. They walk around the table like a satellite and as soon as you take the last bite in your mouth, they want to take the plates away! Wasn't impressed or a relaxed service. Room for massive improvement

What a transformation since the last Akshaya. Some items in the menu from the old restaurant has disappeared, however the ambience and the presentation makes it quite an occasion. Once you’re inside the restaurant, you will not believe that this restaurant is in Kensington. It’s really posh inside. Been there 4 times now. Will recommend anyone. Prices are reasonable too. Food is real authentic Indian/Sri Lankan.

Great food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff! Made for a lovely night!All food was seriously packed with flavour, and unlike most curries, feel great despite eating everything on the plate! Wow! What can I say. The food, the decor the atmosphere is amazing - I can't recommend Akshaya enough. I have told everyone I can about coming here, and can't wait to go back. It has amazing food, drinks and the place is stunning, really amazing place to take pictures and has a great vibe, so perfect for a lunch or night out with friends or family party. I would really recommend the Biriyani, Lamb Chops, Butter Chicken and Chilli Paneer, they also have the most fluffiest Parathas which really compliment the curry. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu! I got a few extra bits including a Dosa as a take away as was travelling back to London and even after a few long hours in the car everything tasted fresh and full of flavour.
