Anar Aigburth BBQ Restaurant in Liverpool

We dropped in for some lunch with our young daughter and we’re seated instantly. The menu was easy to understand and has plenty of options which is always good imo.We ordered a kids chicken nuggets which came out in a good time. My wife and I ordered the Sarme with lamb mince and a feta cheese salad, we shared the lot.The food was lovely and in all honesty got me looking at the breakfast menu for a return visit.Service was tentative with a good amount of check-ins to ensure our visit was going well.Value is really good, the two dishes were plenty for two adults to share and the kids meal was a good portion size too.Overall - food was really nice, staff tentative and price was modest. Would recommend and return! Well done 👍🏻

A friend of mine talked me into ‘trying Turkish’ and suggested Anar! I’m very glad she did, we shared a Supreme Breakfast (pictures attached) it was very, very tasty. It was also BIG and filling. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Usually I am a coffee drinker!..But very much enjoyed the tea which came with the meal. I very much enjoyed my visit and will definitely return to try more from the menu!

These guys know how to cook a rice and a mix grill. Good quality food. I don't recommend calamari, but apart from that the food was quite good.The liver was fantastic.Thry also have some good beers and tea.I give them 4 stars for the average service and calamari, apart from that I recommend it and I think that it is a good place to get stuffed with delicious food.If is a warm day, I recommended you to stay on therase as will make a huge difference..

Food was alright but the waiting staff were slightly strange. They got our orders mixed up twice and it was a little difficult to communicate with them when it came to placing our order.

First time at this restaurant (Saturday 1pm to 4pm) and wow what a fantastic place. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Fantastic atmosphere and great staff. Highly recommended, just go and enjoy yourself. Brilliant.

This place is an example of customer service excellence and food quality.Greeted warmly by the gentleman at the entrance stand. Order the food and drinks.. the quality is remarkably good. There was a mistake in drinks as they delivered mocktails instead of cocktails and as soon as we told them they apologized and offered the cocktails with the price of the mocktails. The place is very clean and tidy staff are amazingly welcoming

The last time was everything all right. But tonight being Friday night there were a lot of people waiting to sit at the reserved tables but our table had no sheet with reserved, the head waiter( head of the hall -manager) was very rude coming twice and asking how long we are stay still considering that we was six people and we waited 50 minutes for the ordered food. I have never had this unpleasant experience considering that I lived in Prague for 6 years and I was a tourist or worker in other European countries. I will never return to this restaurant, considering that there are other Turkish restaurants in the area and maybe there are more polite and do not pressure you to drink and eat quickly, shame on the head of the hall (manager) for this behavior.👎👎👎👎👎

It was my first time at Anar, my boyfriend had been before. It was absolutely lovely, the food was amazing, the staff where very attentive (without being in your face) it was very busy when we visited but everything ran very smoothly, the restaurant was spotlessly clean. We will definitely be going back. Recommend 100%

Delious food and amazing customer service. Asked for a birthday cake for my friends and the while team wished her and celebrated with drums 🥁

Visited here for my husbands birthday. We had a table for 9, its a good job 2 of the family were not able to come as the seating area didn't have adequate space for 9 people.It's a very popular restaurant. My honest opinion of our experience was the food was amazing, the service was not good. The staff were slow coming to take our orders. When we sat down we waited at least 30 minutes before the waiter came to take our orders and drinks orders at the same time.The food came quite quickly , but the service wasn't up to scratch. Waiters slow taking plates away, had to ask a few times.Having said that I've rated the restaurant on the food quality. 3 of us had lamb chops, 2 had ribs,1 had Adana kofta, 1 had chicken shish, the food comes with bowls of salad and rice or chips.Very tasty food, would recommend but please book as it is always chocker. The waiters just need to be more attentive as it is a busy restaurant. I would visit again tho.
