ASDA in Liverpool

Nice and spacious. Fuel, Pharmacy, Grocery. Easy parking. Sometimes get crowded but manageable to park. Many restaurants around. Staff friendly, helpful.

Sandra in bakery department was superb, so helpful and friendly, thank you.

Whatever you do in this Asda always check your receipt every week know for the last two months they have over charged me on the 3 for £10 and the two for £4. Also other items ie wine and mushrooms and any reduced items.

Went shopping here at 6.30 pm, avoided any stressful queues, all items I needed for a 2 week shop I bought. Friendly staff. People kept social distance and it was the most easiest shop I've done since lock down has begun. Thank you asda staff . More community heroes in my eyes x

The place was packed, yet only 5 tills open. Numerous staff stood around chatting to customers when the queues were at least 6 deep.

Went to the pizza counter today tea time to get one made and considering Covid has been everywhere in the news for months on end, the 2 girls making the pizzas had no gloves on, one had no mask. Spreading the toppings on bare hand and laughing and spluttering all over the pizzas while they were making them. Social distance in store but don't mind doing that to your food. Pair of mingers 😷

I would give no stars for the women on foreign exchange if possible. Around midday today I asked her if she had a certain currency she did not even look up from the desk and just shook her head. Such rudeness. I suggest management have a strong word and send her on a customer services course. Disgraceful attitude.

Really enjoy coming here late at night and get my food and clothing as its a 24hr. And with me suffering with anxiety there's no one there around 11pm. Night staff replenishing food so you always get fresh food.

Normally I divide the review into a section of good and bad...but this store is different and here's why:*Size - This is a massive store with a lot to offer ranging from your general food groceries to even clothes. There's no grocery store bigger than this asda within a 5-10 mile radius.*Selection - They've pretty much got EVERYTHING in this Asda. Food, clothes, kitchenware, DIY, stationery...you name it and it's probably there.*Customer Service - The customer service is pretty good. The members of staff are easy to talk to and generally helpful. I've seen some have a little banter with the customers as well which is reassuring.*Services - Café, Camera Kiosk, toilets, travel money, customer returns, Scan & Go, Butchers, etc.. These are among the services available in this store. There's a few more services included in the store but as you can see, there's just so much more than I can list off over the top of my head. Either way, their all quality services and we'll provided despite the number and variety provided.*Self checkout - There are two self checkouts sections and both of them are generally the best alternatives to the regular checkout services. The conveyor belt self checkout areas are quite vast in terms of their numbers which is pretty great considering the size of the store and the number of customers.*Hygiene - As you can see from the pictures and videos I've shown, this store is suprisingly  clean - especially when you take its size into consideration. Even the gents was clean, and this is something that I wouldn't take for granted especially compared to other superstores and even other Asda's within Liverpool.*Events - Depending on the time of year it is, there's generally a store wide cosmetic outlook throughout the whole store for each event. For example during Christmas / Halloween you'll see the corresponding cosmetics throughout the store which make for an emersive shopping experience. I like it and I'm sure the kids love it even more.Overall:All in all...honestly this is hands down one of the best Asda's /superstores I've been to in Liverpool. I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit or go shopping.9/10 - because no store is  perfect but this comes close.

Shelves over crowded. Not very clean. A bit of a mess really.
