To look at it on the street it may be mistaken for a generic restaurant in the vast... as we opened the door we were greeted with open arms from a very pleasant man who asked us "barbeque" in broken English we replied yes after the third attempt. We sat down not expected close to what we would get. We ordered and got the rice and it came very quick. We had trouble mastering the trade of chop stick wizardry but by the end we were experienced. Good price, good hospitality good restaurant to sum it up in just a few words.

Shockingly bad. I made a reservation and when I went and told them, I was looked at as if I was asking them for their life. I told them I had a reservation and the male employee just said "What? Today?" with a very demeaning tone of voice. I had to repeat myself three times before he eventually went to the computer to check my reservation. When we were ordering, we tried our best to tell them what we wanted without completely butchering the name of the dish. The guy huffed and puffed and said "Just tell me the dish number".Overall, the food was ok, not the best but the service is what ruins it. We asked for the barbecue alongside a main. We received the main first and the male employee (again) moved my main meal away without asking to turn on the barbecue and then just left without saying sorry or putting it back. Not to mention they literally served us food and then didn't even think we would need cutlery. To say the least they even charged .... SERVICE CHARGE. You can ask them to take it off as there was nothing to pay for in terms of service.I would not recommend this place unless you are desperate. Such a shame as it is in an ideal street but such terrible service.

I lived in Seoul for 17 years, so I know my Korean food! The service was solid and the food was excellent. I can strongly recommend the soondooboo (tofu) soup, spicy and delicious. I ordered an extra rice because it didn't say on the menu that it came with it, and the waitress didn't inform me at the time, that's my only minor quibble.

I usually go with my friend and the service is good, food is tasty and portions are worth the money paid. However, I have been in once or twice with my boyfriend and I didn’t really think the way the waiters spoke to us was acceptable, we got left in a corner and forgotten about and when we tried to get their attention we got ignored. Not sure what warranted the chance of attitude when I went with my boyfriend but it was disappointing.

Hey, please order the ox tail soup with the rice, and the beef tongue, pork belly BBQ with lettuce, they are absolutely amazing, I have no idea why the reviews are so bad, the food I have this time is totally worth it for the price!Check the picture! Can't waste any soup in my bowl!

On my first try with the Korean cuisine, I think I had some delicious kalbi and some soup. The food was delicious but the lighting and the ambience of the place can be improved.

Another lovely Korean restaurant in town. Love their KimChi pancake, bibimbap and spicy Korean beef soup.We re-visited this Korean restaurant after two years. They have improved significantly. Their foods were delicious. The highlight of the meal was actually the KimChi pancake. It was crisp outside and had lots of kimchi inside the pancake.Bibimbap was good too, served with a piping hot stone bowl! Perfect for keeping the food warm at this temperature. The only comment is their staff were not attentive. They brought us, two of the same dish, and we had to pay for. They even forgot our drinks. Minus the service, it was a fabulous restaurant with delicious Korean food.

I was hesitant to visit this restaurant because of the reviews I have read. But I had no choice because my friend demanded to give it a shot. The service was beyond amazing as soon as we sat we were given the menus and few minutes later someone came to take the order. It didn't take long since we got our order and the meat was beyond perfect. It was my first time to try Korean cuisine and it definitely exceeded my expectations! hopefully will be going here again!

The dining experience can only be given two stars, and the ambiguous red light makes it impossible for customers to see the food. My friend and I ordered sweet and sour pork, pork fried rice and spicy beef soup. Sweet and sour pork came first, a very nice dish, but then they gave us chicken fried rice and the waiter told us they had no pork (where did the sweet and sour pork come from?). The spicy beef soup has no flavor other than pepper. A table of guests complained to the waiter about the price, but the waiter commented on the customer in his own language when the customer left. Won't be back again.

Been going here on the weekend for the last few weeks. Place is very slap dash and the waiters are a bit skiddish and amateur with the teenager who works there coming up and just asking "What do you want?" But am I a Ken who thinks that's a negative? Lmao no. It adds character to the place, I order what I want and the wizards down stairs usually blast it out in less than five minutes. Seen some people say its not well cooked or gets cold etc but NEVER happened for me ever so far. Genuine Korean food very enjoyable. I'm trying to go different places when I can but it's just an easy location in Bold Street among all the busy outdoor serving going on. Would recommend.
