Order a set meal for two, Chicken soup was tasty, starters were delicious but i did not enjoy my salt and pepper chicken. Husband enjoyed his chicken Kong po with fried rice. Two cans of soda. Would not visit again as there are plenty of other places to eat in and around the area.

Would NOT recommend…. The lemon iced tea was so sweet it was undrinkable. We ordered hot & sour noodle soup, but it was very salty and sweet at the same time, the udon noodles were not tasty and the vegetables tasted like water.Surprised there are so many good reviews here!

Place looked tired but don't let that fool you. Every time we have walked passed its been very busy, so yesterday on the way to a gig we managed to get a table. This place lives up to its name Big Bowl, plenty of good tasting food the service was very good and Yes I would go back good value

Came here to eat in after the Mei Mei across the road messed us about after waiting half an hour for the table we had booked and then half an hour of being ignored at the table. We should have come here in the first place.Soup (hot and sour soup was really good) and starters were fab (and mahosive) - we would have left it there if we had any sense.Mains were big in size and big in flavour. £15 per person for the food (we took half the mains back home in a doggy bag, they were that big) - we will be back to eat here again.Staff are happy to chat and it's well run.If you are in this area trying to choose between these restaurants then go to the Big Bowl Noodle Bar - it may not be as swish as others but in every other respect wins hands down.UPDATE - We returned and it was still really good.

Very good, authentic Chinese food available here at Big Bowl Noodle Bar. The dishes are quickly prepared and always delicious. Each time I have eaten here, the staff have been friendly and both the restaurant and its facilities are clean. The atmosphere can feel a little sterile due to the bright lights, but having only eaten here for lunch, this is not an issue at all. The inclusion of other peoples' dining experiences as a part of the decor is a very cute addition. The only issue ever faced here was on one instance where the kitchen seemed to forget about our order, but we received a free round of drinks and huge apologies once we pointed this out. They seemed embarrassed but it was a sincere mistake. The cost of the food is very reasonable, considering what you receive. I will eat here again.

After much recommendation, We visited yesterday...MARVELLOUS...Everything tasted so fresh...The deep fried items were crisp and dry 👌..The hot and sour soup was excellent..It exceeded my expectations

·

The best Chinese food I've ever eaten, it's just fantastic, only like a little cafe, get the big bowl noodle meal, you won't go anywhere else after you've tried here

Our all-time favourite Chinese in Liverpool. The big bowl will never disappoint you. Big portion, delicious food, and affordable price! Love their big bowl noodles, fresh egg noodles coupled with homemade dumplings, chicken chip, bbq pork and piping hot soup, just perfect for this cold weather. Another recommended dish would be Hainanese Chicken rice, almost as authentic as you would get in Singapore.

Excellent amount of food given the price. The restaurant is not one to go to for decor but cheap, quick, authentic food. The photo is the big rice bowl (something like that) and it only cost £11!
