Ham hock starter, lovely and tasty, with fresh warm bread, Sunday dinners superb, all home cooked, great to get home made Yorkshire pudding. My sirloin beef and wife's lamb, so tasty, and gravy to die for, and plenty of it .Finished off with sticky toffee pudding, again home made,What a find, can't wait to return, and lovely friendly staff

We went for a Sunday Roast. The service was amazing, we’d accidentally booked our table on the wrong date but the staff got us a table sorted. Brilliant friendly service on a very busy day. The food was AMAZING. Ginormous Yorkshire puds, lovely gravy and fresh veg. Would love to see more alcohol free options available. Would have loved a glass of alcohol free prosecco or wine.Thank you for a brilliant Sunday roast. We’ll be back. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely food and inviting atmosphere. I had black pudding and apple fritters to start and chicken breast burger for my main. My husband had chicken strips and the beef and chuck burger all hot and delicious. Service was really good too.

Great fish and chips. Staff were very accommodating for my mams intolerance to gluten. Great pub all round.

Lovely place, staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. It's not a big place, so best to make a booking. If you're going on a Sunday they have a limited menu of roast dinners. They have one none meat option of nut roast, so if you have a nut allergy like me, the only option is a cauliflower cheese side dish... Great choice of drinks though

Lovely pub, very friendly and helpful staff. Large selections of draft ales which were very tasty and food is lovely. Only slight mark down was because portion size was on the small side especially for the price, the sticky braised beef being a good example there was very little meat but was very tasty.

I've been here a few times over the years and every time the food has been wonderful. Packed full of flavour and none it tasting like it's come out of a packet or reheated. If you're looking for a nice meal you can't go wrong.
