A really lovely afternoon tea. Food was excellent and the restaurant did a great job catering for different dietary requirements. Helpful and attentive staff and a beautiful venue. Plan your car parking though as it's right in the middle of the city centre!

If I could give a 0 I would. Why? Bottom line, prices were incredibly high, food absolutely sucked and service was worse.1st. The steak was ordered medium, which was reiterated, it came out rare at best. No check by wait staff till the very end of dinner as to how the meal was, ruining any chance to refire the meat. 2nd A slow braised beef was ordered which was served in very thin, tough slices. Anyone ever making a slow cooked beef knows it's not possible. The meat should be butter soft while this was tough and again thin sliced. 3rd. The waitress dropped a knife from a starter plate and rather than pick it up, let it sit there the length of dinner. 4. I was charged a service fee that was not discussed or mentioned it was just added. 5. Even when asked if we were done with the meal and replying yes, after another 15 minutes I had to ask for the bill. This was on a slow night during the middle of the week with only 2 tables besides us. All in all i am amazed this place is in business.

Rubbish. Put us in the lobby of hard days night, had to ask to be moved to the restaurant. Veggie was given thin, soggy, floppy cucumber sandwiches, no choices or options. All on the same stand as the beef, ham and salmon sandwiches, which weren't much better. Strawberries put on the stand with the cakes (not homemade) were off, asked to change them and they just took them off and said that the chef thought he could 'get away with them'. Brough over a plate of chunky tomato and cheese sandwiches after we complained about lack of veggie choice. Chef obvs did give a hoot. Had the nerve to add on a 10%service charge after we've complained about 2 diff things. Dont think so. So disappointed. Definitely wouldn't recommend or go back.

This was a gift for our golden wedding. I ordered the top price fillet steak with bearnaise sauce. They brought me what seemed to be a nice tender steak ,I pored over the sauce to find it was peppercorn which I can't eat, I sent it back they then said you're in luck another table has over ordered and it was a steak with the sauce I wanted. After trying a mouthful I realised it was not a fillet but more likely a sirloin and it was tough as old boots almost inedible I should have sent that back as well but I didn't want to make any fuss , very disappointed on a what should have been a lovely giftBarbara Iatrou

There were Beatles pictures all around the restaurant and they played Beatles music the entire time. The food and drinks were delicious and the service was a bit slow but otherwise great and friendly. It's a great small quiet restaurant. All the food and cocktails on the menu were in some way related to the Beatles as well.

This was pretty embarassing and overpriced. The food was poorly cooked (haven't had a burger this well done in years), the wine was spilled all over the glass at serving, the ambience was completely incoherent (why would you want to combine Beatles memorabilia, headshots of famous individuals and fancy decor design into a single restaurant?). Not recommended if you have any taste (or tastebuds) at all.
