Brookhouse in Liverpool

My mate Matt loves this place. He went there when he was a student, now our kids love it too as students. Decent food from varied menu. Three small plates for 8.99 were really tasty. Friendly staff. Good range of beers. Student night on Thursdays, with £1.70 pints. Two pool tables. Huge pub.

No alcohol free cider even though on drinks menu. No pods for late, needed a good clean as tables were sticky... Friendly service behind the bar shame about the drinks.

Popped in 2 weeks ago for something to eat, food menu is very bland, went to the bar and no staff to be seen so we left after being in there for 15 minutes without getting anything. Used to go all the time and it was an alright place but I doubt we'll be back.

Absolutely love the brookie. A great student pub, such a good environment. Sophie’s a wonderful bartender, so kind and helpful!

Nice and friendly Pub. Perfect when is sunny as u just go to the outside area. Will go back was my first time.

A great place to visit whenever the football is on (plenty of screens and very student friendly): the only down side is that it's usually extremely busy when I'm in which means it can take a while to be served for drinks.

I ordered scampi and chips and it clearly says on the menu garden peas or mushy peas so I ordered it with mushy peas. It arrived with garden peas and stale chips when I said it was supposed to be with mushy peas I was told they didn't have any, a piece of information that would have been useful at the point of ordering but they clearly thought this was acceptable. Don't eat hear if you don't need to!!!!

Nice bar good buzz great food

Little disappointed as they didn't have most of the drinks on the menu as well as no straws so it was difficult to stir the drink. The food was okay, chicken little dry. Glasses with vine came dirty but they gave us new ones.
