Cargo Restaurant, Bar and Deli in Liverpool

Visited Cargo for the first time I spotted this fish restaurant when out walking one day at the pier head . My friend and I decided to try it for lunch. Upon entering the staff was very welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed and the location of the the restaurant is right by the river with good views. Regarding the food 😋 and service I can only say it was excellent. We both decided to try their mussels. Cooked to perfection and a good portion served with tasty bread 🍞 and delicious tasty chips 🍟 . The manager was really friendly and chatty. The pricing is good to it won't break the bank. There is a good selection of fresh fish 🐟 dishes and they explain if there is fish of the day on the menu. I'd highly recommend popping into Cargo if you enjoy fish. There is steak on the menu aswell and also vegetarian options. Well worth a visit. I'll be back 👍🏻😋🍽🍸

Great place.Found it by luck 3 weeks ago for a family meet up lunch. We all had such a good meal and were SO welcomed I decided to go overnight with a friend so we could have dinner. (We do not live close by)We were not disappointed .Tracy was so good looking after us from the minute we arrived.Food again was excellent.Big shout out to ALL the staff. We will be back. This was the best fish meal we've had ever. The scallops were perfect as the starter with a tasty garlicky cream sauce. We had the 'special of the day' which was halibut cooked to perfection with accompaniments. The service was great and the waiter picked up on it being my husband's birthday which I hadn't realised I'd even mentioned. All in all we thoroughly recommend this gem of a restaurant.

The best seafood I have ever eaten! Last minute booking and it was no problem! The staff are so polite and made a good impression from the second we walked through the door. Made us feel very welcome the whole time, just an amazing experience as a whole. Will definitely be returning and recommending to everybody I know. Thank you all so much!

This is a gem of a place to go, with friendly staff and a lovely view of the Mersey. Fantastic food and wonderful surrounding.
