Sometimes come here with my grandad and we love it, nice atmosphere, good prices and friendly faces...what more could you want from a pub?

Food awful wouldnt give to my dog waited over a hour for food and to ask for our drinkstables where full of empty plates and glasses on tables people complaining thre food was cold and still waiting for the drinksAnd then to top it off you have to pay for parkingWouldn't recommend

Pretty decent to be honest, busy on the Friday night I went, but efficient and polite staff meant not too long waiting for anything. Table numbers on all the tables would be good to help with app orders. Food good, beer good, pub good, all good.

Beverages and breakfast for 4 adults for less than £20 in total! Plus food and service is great. On site parking for a very small charge. No reason not to go.

Since we returned here after 2 years away, breakfast every sunday without fail has been fantastic. Bar and waiting on staff are all friendly and polite. Pub is always clean and tidy as are toilets, well done cleaning staff.

Old neighbourhood pub, now run by Wetherspoon's. I remember it from the 70s when it was a bit posh. I haven't tried the food but the beer is unusual in that it is very high in choice and quality (good range of real ales that changes regularly), and very low in price (my pint of Ruddle's just cost me 99 pence). And the staff are really nice and helpful. Frequented by a wide range of ages from teenagers to geezers.

Great Cheap ales. Helpful staff. Nice atmosphere but had a large mixed grill yesterday and most of my meats were warm. Sausages and chips were hot. Hopefully it was a one off. Will try it again. Beers are superb.

Popped in for a quick refresher and had one of those low calorie drinks. I would recommend this to anyone who doesn't really drink or is taking it easy or watching their calorie intake. Here's a picture! I describe it as a carbonated water without sugar or sweeteners (I really dislike sweeteners) my personal taste that is. Added with a hint of flavour subtle but effective. Still it's 5% alcohol.
