Lovely little cafe with 5/5 service and tasty lunch options. My son had a cheese & ham toastie which was made with real ham hock, not sliced. He thought it was delicious and wolfed the lot down. The salt & pepper chicken baguette was delicious too and very big.Coffee was very very good and served well in a tall cup.Not sure about the Albanian biscuit, certainly not what my son expected but we were warned by the lovely lady serving us!Prices are on the high side, as other reviews have mentioned, but it's no more than what you would get charged in the city centre. For what you get, and for the personal, attentive service however I'd say the price is justified.I will definitely return.

Maybe the best full English breakfast I've ever had. Not one thing was out of place here. Clean cafe, friendly staff, delicious food and affordable overall. What's not to enjoy ?

I absolutely love going here.3 reasons:1. Nice to support a local business2. Service, food and environment are great3. The owner is brilliant.Always visible, always welcoming and friendly. He goes above and beyond (once cooked pancakes for our daughter with coeliac disease with our gluten free flour so she didn't feel left out). Asks how your meal and experience is and acts on feedback. Keen to make your experience the best he can, cares about his customers. Always trying to think of new menu ideas.

Lovely little cafe with a good range of menu options. Worth visiting just for dessert. The cupcakes are amazing but avoid the pancakes. They are very soggy and tasted raw.

We called in to Coopers yesterday for a light lunch and a coffee to see how things were under there new ownership. It was really nice to have a friendly greeting on arrival and the atmosphere and redecoration was good. The food and service was very good and reasonably priced and we will definitely make it a regular visit as we live close by.

Fantastic lunch, it was simply perfect. The new management are doing a great job. My sourdough, brie and avocado bagette was delicious and great service as well. Thank you

First time visiting under the new management and was sadly disappointed. I ordered two bacon butties, a flat white and a black Americano. I was charged £16.70 for takeaway which I thought was excessive and no cheaper than dining in. Got home, my buttie was crust on one side which was slightly burnt, not even cut in half (my husbands was). No sauces or sugar in the bag and my coffee was full of milk so I couldn’t drink it. Considering there was only me and one other in this is poor especially at that price.
