Cowshed in Liverpool

A great experience! It’s set in what I believe would of been a house over several floors.We’ve had this booked for a little while now, we often pick out a Steak Restaurant as we love a Fillet steak and so rate them against one another.For drinks we enjoyed two lovely cocktails!We began our food with the halloumi bites which is just enough to get you going.As per usual we had a fillet each, along with fries and garlic mushrooms with some sauces. I have to say the garlic sauce is VERY nice. The steak itself was very nice too, I ordered medium-rare and I’d say it was about right, maybe 30 seconds less 🤔 although hard to tell but it was very tasty.The service was good, very friendly and professional.Toilets were very clean, in fact probably the best I’ve seen during our trip to Liverpool!

We went today with a friend. We ordered one rib eye steak each. I’ve ordered mine medium and my friend ordered hers medium-well. Both came medium-well. The waitress checked back to see if everything was okay and I told her that my steak was over cooked. She offered straight away to bring me a new steak but I was already half way through and I thought that it would be cheeky to let her swap it for another one, so I had my steak medium-well. When we asked for the bill, the steak was removed by our order after discussion between the waitress and the kitchen. Even to the best of restaurants it happens sometimes food not to be as good due to a variety of reasons, but excellent customer service is something that never fails. 5 stars not for the steak, but for the customer service. I’ll be back and I’m sure next time the steak will be great, as their customer service!

Great value, delicious steaks that are cooked perfectly! Add £1 for the extra bone marrow to make it even better 💕service was super friendly and attentive. Make sure you book in advance!

Fantastic little place this.We arrived about 15 minutes earlier than our booking and our table was already waiting for us which was an absolute bonus so we didn't have to wait around.Homely and comfortable setting with a relaxed atmosphere, staff are very welcoming, polite and take their time to treat you like an actual guest.Our server was a young lady called Kaitlin, absolute credit to the Cow Shed and if you get her as your server then you'll be looked after from start to finish.Food is absolutely delicious, we had the Croquettes, Greedy cow and Terry orange cheesecake all of which were delicious. Credit to the kitchen staff on the Steak as they were all cooked to perfection, 1 downfall was one of them had quite a bit of fat on it which was a little bit of dissapointment but in no way to put a downer on anythin else.Would highly recommend and will return in the future.Again thanks to Kaitlin, absolute superstar

Absolutely Outstanding Steak restaurant. Top notch steak, cooked perfectly, and served in a very modern and contemporary style. Does NOT disappoint, and we Will definitely return when next in the city .

Fantastic steak. Great service.Really recommend giving it a go if you're a steak lover.We had starters, rump, cabbage in cream and garlic mushrooms. Shared a pudding with coffee.About £30.00 ahead. Great value.Service is excellent.

Absolutely unreal. Staff were really kind from the moment we walked in. Good humour and happy to recommend different steaks and how they should be cooked. Everything reasonably priced and mouth watering good! At the end of the night our server kindly brought us two free shots due to it being my partners birthday on the visit. We’ll definitely be back, a 10/10 experience from us!

Absolutely incredible. Having had steaks in some very expensive restaurants across the world this was, by far, the best steak I've ever had! The 'Greedy Cows' combo was a great way to get three steaks, some sauces and sides for a great price. The service was outstanding, with attentive waiters. Best flat iron steak I've ever had. 10/10, would eat here again.

Just got to the hotel after eating at this restaurant... wow! Everything I ate there was incredible! The steak and sauce just melts in your mouth! One of the very best steak restaurants I have eaten at hands down! Also very affordable which was a bonus!I would easily visit Liverpool again to just come eat here again! If you love your steak, look no further than Cowshed!
