I visited this place many years ago and I loved atmosphere so I wanted to bring my friend who is new town for an afternoon tea. It was very disappointing, they re-designed it with grey cold colors. They brought the tea and coffee in french press instead of a pot. The food was ok but not worth the £25 per person. I believe you can find the same afternoon tea anywhere with a lower price.

If I could move in here I would. The cakes are to incredible and the teas great. Had afternoon tea here and the serving is well worth the price! The staff can't do enough for you even when you're asking for your 200th tea refill. I would highly recommend visiting here if you're in town.

Delicious afternoon tea and kind staff! Went the extra mile by putting my veggie tea on a separate tower, which was a really nice detail. Absolutely worth a visit if you're on Liverpool.

The de-facto place for afternoon tea in Liverpool. There are multiple different types you can get - the New York style one is fun, but I love the traditional one.Staff are super helpful, and have a good balance between not attentive enough and overbearing. The pasties that you can buy for takeout are delicious!

Amazing place, can't wait to come back. First time I've had afternoon tea and it was all delicious and fresh. They easily catered for the changes we wanted to make and other dietary requirements to with no trouble.

Good food, Tasty. They seem to be improving, previously I felt the bread was overdate, but now the taste is very good. I suggest the fish and chips from this place. The service needs to improve though, they need at least one more person. An update (Nov2019). The food indeed is great, but the service time is still very affected when is busy. So I warn you to be ready to wait at least 45 minutes to served. This is something that should really improve.

Lovely little tea room and a popular choice and a nice place for a cozy catch up with friends or celebration. Booking definitely recommended. If you are with someone with hearing impairment don't sit in the back. When there are large groups it can be quite noisy. The unlimited tea is unlimited hot water on the tea and even when its fresh it's not that strong (but we do like a builders brew). The vegan afternoon tea was ok, the cauliflower and houmous is really nice otherwise rather bland and not great value. The New Yorker was a bad choice. The classic did look far better value and if we went again would opt for that. Scones are good
