Beautiful place gorgeously decorated. Service was exceptional - always there right when we wanted something and yet never obtrusive. We had afternoon tea to celebrate our daughter’s graduation, and the team made us feel very special. I need gluten and lactose free dishes, and the chefs really pushed the boat out to cater for me 😊

This is without question a first class dining establishment. The waiting staff and sommelier provided attentive, helpful but not intrusive service, meals were cooked to perfection and presented with commensurate skill, the wine list was extensive and contained many acutely well selected offerings. In all an exceptional dining experience that provided an ideal blend of quality and value. Highly recommended.

The hotel is Great. I have eaten in quite a few Michelin starred restaurants this year but this is overpriced with tiny poryions. I was given a table at 8:30 and by 9 the waiting staff were more interested in making the tables up for the next day than serving us.Big disappointment. But the hotel is good.

Phenomenal food. Flavour, texture and temperature combinations you've never dreamed of put together on a plate of absolute genius.

Works night out in a private room downstairs. We had a set 3 course menu which was £60 a head without a drink. Service was good. Food tasty but small portions. I had a chicken main with colcanon and got 3 small carrots as the veg. Came home hungry. Not worth the £60 price tag.

Food is good, yet ambition in the kitchen does not meet reality in front of house and service- the London Carriage Works presents itself as a fine dining restaurant yet there is a clear discrepancy with service levels offer vs its pairs in Liverpool & GB. Even on a not busy at all Monday, waiting was very long and attention to details quite low (no one asking to take away jackets at entrance or when sitting, waiting long for anything from order taking to food delivery to the table to bill delivery). This is a real pity as you can clearly perceive that kitchen is full of ambition and aspiring to greater recognition. Improving service will certainly enable better outcomes for the restaurant.

The staff were absolutely amazing and the setting is really lovely, however the food let me down quite a bit.We got the earth platter and aside from the houmous it was quite tasteless - the tempura broccoli and roasted cauliflower in particular had no flavour. They also missed the beetroot off the platter.I got the crispy mushroom ravioli for the main, I liked the filling of the ravioli but I found the outside of it quite tough and chewy and the rest of the dish tasteless again.Quite disappointing as it is expensive, I think the meat and fish eaters did enjoy the food a lot more though. The house white wine was lovely and the staff and setting still made it a very enjoyable visit but I probably wouldn’t be back.

Fine dining = small portions.Nice presentation, but main meal was really tiny. Lamb a bit tough too.Had to send the bill back on numerous occasions.

For the average person... like me... this is more of a treat than just a meal out... but hey... it's worth it... treat yourself.. you can literally taste the care that has been taken... and the service was very friendly and very efficient. Book a table...GO... you deserve a treat.

Food was excellent, so we're all the staff, really nice place to go.
