GBK in Liverpool

Went for a meal here with my friends and my boyfriend and ordered a beef burger that had pulled pork on it, absolutely delicious at the time but i fell ill the next day with food poisoning which i’m convinced i got from this place as it was the only place me and my boyfriend had eaten at where he hadn’t taken a bite or finished off my meal. The food and service where absolutely delicious, was just all bad luck i had fallen ill afterwards

GBK is an old favourite. Used to visit the Birmingham Mailbox one all the time.Liverpool branch is solid. Quick and pleasant to visit.Hei Hei chicken to start is addictive. Moist… so, so very moist 😻Burgers are all good - love the pano chicken satay. Miss the Camemburger.Skinny fries 😻😻Dancin’ food.

The wife and I had an excellent meal at GBK, Liverpool yesterday. Despite being extremely busy , they managed the flow of customers really well, and made room and time for everyone, fair play. We were asked several times how things were, the staff could not do enough for us. Great food, great service, & we'll definitely go again.

The only burger place I go to in Liverpool, never disappoints. Me and my wife's go to date night restaurant before going to the movies next door.

Absolutely lovely place for a bite to eat, burgers are nice and filling and the milkshakes are unreal, the best part about this place is the waiter never got his name but he was wearing a pink and blue flamingo shirt, from the moment we entered to the moment we left he made us feel very welcome and was happy to assist, if you read this well done mate you made my day.

Good burgers to be had here, the fries are super skinny.

Good service with friendly staff. Well cooked food. Portions/side orders could be a little more.Overall recommend, been here 3 times during my stays in Liverpool and would definitely come to GBK again.

All the other restaurants were booked and there was a 40 minute wait. We came here as a last resort, but were not disappointed.Friendly staff who made sure everything was ready at the table and showed us how and where to order. The manager was seen on the floor and behind the till helping out. I wish I got his name as he recommended a banana milkshake and it was awesome. I normally don't drink milkshakes but this came with the Christmas burger bundle I ordered so asked for his recommendation. Excellent call.The burger had a nice sauce and was cooked medium rare, like I asked. You could order skinny chips or chunky ones. The skinny ones were a bit too skinny for me and not very enjoyable. The chunky ones were cooked really well. They were fried but hollow and airy. I don't know how else to describe them, but they were nice.As always, prices are relative. Make sure to look at the menu before you go. They also have an app, so download it as you'll collect points for free food. I downloaded mine too late 🤦🏻‍♂️I give it a four only because they had an offer about lunch burgers being served in 15 minutes or the next one is free. Because it was busy the promotion wasn't running. The waiter told us, and it makes sense, but if someone didn't ask the question, and waited 40 minutes expecting it, it would be frustrating. I'm glad I asked early, but disappointed I couldn't get the offer.
