Ginoâs will be always my favourite place for a special occasion or even just a simple dinner with friends or family. Stunning food quality and lovely service from all the Staff. Highly recommend!

Went to celebrate with a couple of friends for a 21st birthday last night. We ate in the 360 sky bar and it was beautiful. Our server Lottie was very attentive without being annoying, was friendly, smiley and helped us choose our cocktails and what to eat. Beautiful setting and couldn't fault the place. Will be returning!

Lovely meal in the restaurant đ Arancini and Calamari to start really light and tasty. Cod and belly pork for mains both very nice. Our waiter Pepe was excellent very welcoming and friendly. We did go to Sky Bar for a cocktail very nice layout and cocktails good. Didn't think staff very welcoming as in restaurant and a bit of a disagreement between colleagues over what I assume was a issue on drinks.. shouldn't be done in front of customers, but it did result in us getting 2 free cocktails due to their error đ„

CHAOTIC NIGHTMARE.We booked to go to the sky bar and then to dinner in the restaurant and I can safely say itâs one of the worse experiences Iâve had.To start - when we got up to the sky bar, there were 4 of us on sofa seats and the music was so unbelievably loud that we couldnât even chat. It was 6:30pm and donât get me wrong, Iâm 32 and I like music for creating an atmosphere, but everyone in there was having to literally shout - it was bizarre. I had to point at our drinks on the menu as the waitress couldnât hear a thing either! It also seemed to attract a load of kids who didnât seem to be doing much else but taking selfies rather than buying a drink. Didnât really give the bar the feel I think itâs supposed to have.We then headed down to dinner for our meal which was booked at 7:30pm. As you go down, the restaurant feels as if itâs far too much in the lobby of the hotel. There was a group of lads with a McDonaldâs heading up to their room, about a metre away from where youâre supposed to be having a sophisticated drink in the bar - odd! When we got to the restaurant reception, we were told the table wasnât ready so to go to the bar and buy a drink. We didnât get seated till 8:30pm! They then sat us on a high bar table that theyâd cobbled together next to the busy bar area. This is definitely not what weâd booked (6 weeks earlier) so we asked if we could actually sit in the restaurant like we booked and eventually at 8:40pm we finally had a table. The food was the only redeeming factor as it was very good, but the service was appalling! We sat by the kitchen and you wouldnât believe how many plates were going back and to the wrong tables etc. We were given the wrong starters, had sides missed off our main order and we asked for the bottles of Coke with our spirits and we received glasses already full of the Coke (which was horrendously flat). We asked for the drinks to be changed and the waitress replied âwell itâs not my fault is itâ - really good attitude when in the service sector! She then proceeded to be moody with us for the rest of the evening, hardly speaking a word, on her phone by the till rather than checking weâre alright, slamming down plates, not once asked if we want any sauce, Parmesan, anything else I can get you etc. We werenât asking for much, we just wanted the basics and at the prices being charged, theyâre lucky the food was good as I think weâd have just left if not.I donât know whether theyâre understaffed or just not trained properly to promote the restaurant the kind of way Gino would want, but it couldnât have been a worse experience. We walked away just over ÂŁ200 down and literally couldnât wait to escape the hotel lobby/cafeteria experience we were subjected to.Top tip⊠for maybe 10/20% more on the bill, you can go to Gordonâs new Bread Street Kitchen down the road which is absolutely incredible and you will have a dining experience to remember for the right reasons.Save yourself from this chaotic nightmare!!!

Unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. I booked a table in the sky bar months in advance, followed by dinner in the restaurant downstairs. The week before I attempted to contact via phone and email many times to confirm all was still okay due to it being a special occasion. I never had any response from the restaurant at all.I had booked both tables for 8 people, confirmed with an ÂŁ80 deposit. The sky bar staff told us there wasnât enough chairs for us all and two would be required to stand. The table behind us remained free the entire duration of our 90 minute stay but were told we couldnât move two chairs from that table to use as it was booked. The waiting staff did not make us feel welcome during our stay and the drinks took a very long time to come.We then moved to the restaurant which was an improvement as the staff were polite and attentive. The communication between the staff could be improved as we received a food dish and a cocktail which we did not order but were taken off the bill at the end. The food was good quality and arrived to the table promptly.I wish the whole experience was more enjoyable as a whole as it was a special occasion and payed a lot for the experience.

I book well in advance to celebrate my wifeâs birthday, our reservation was for 9 Oâclock and we were advised to be the 10 minutes early. The decor was very nice but why have the music so loud ??We were left unknowing when we would be seated at our table, I had to ask and we were eventually seated at 9:25.The food was average, the staff and the customer service was questionable. The only thing that helped was the desserts were free.Overall, a very bad experience and I will not be going again.

Quite a difficult one this..very nice interior ..atmosphere etc. Food was tasty but my main wasn't very hot..and 5 prawns in a linguine I felt was a bit of a rip.Anyway drinks were fine..dessert..thought I'd try the tiramasu ..was nice but not a game changer..waiting staff kept disappearing much to my dismay as the wine was good and I wanted to order another ..that was about a 15 minute wait..wasn't particularly busy either..but hey ho.really wanted to rave about this place. But it didn't live up to the hype.

We had a great time tonight at Gino's. The atmosphere of the evening was great with music and very good food. On top of that, we were very well served by Tasha, smiling and caring. Thank you for a great time!

As we were staying at the hotel it seemed sensible to try out the breakfast, especially as the restaurant and bar area looked stunning. Managed to drag ourselves down for 10 o'clock - not really expecting much for a Boxing Day breakfast. How wrong we were. Despite it being Buffet style, the service and range/quality of food on offer was outstanding. Everything from Full English through to pastries and fresh fruits. Can vouch for all of it. đđ

Most of the food was absolutely delicious, the meatballs weren't the best we've had, but far from bad. Decor is nice, chairs very comfy and our server Reagan was a delight đ a black mark against Gino for anyone environmentally conscious, the garlic bread served on a mock Italian newspaper which looks great but is a waste when it could have just come on a plate
