Had an excellent meal there today. Best I’ve had for a long time and value for money gone mad. To top it all excellent service from Harry our waiter. Definitely be going back.

Visited here last night without a reservation and they were very accommodating despite being extremely busy.Being a Coeliac I was pleasantly surprised at the large Gluten Free menu selection available, and how seriously they took my condition. The food tasted amazing, nice and fresh, and quite reasonably priced too.If you're visiting Liverpool I'd definitely recommend this place for a meal.

One of the nicest roast dinners I've had. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and nothing is too much trouble.

Acceptable meal for myself as very limited dairy and gluten free options available. Everyone else in our party appeared to enjoy there meals and they all looked delicious. The pies looked delicious in particular. Good service but had to wait a long time for meals to be served.

Decent food, cooked very competently and served by friendly and efficient staff. A reasonable wine selection at reasonable prices without necessarily exciting the taste buds. A good lunchtime menu competitively priced. A visit is recommended.

As an American tourist, I've found a lot of restaurant foods here to be on the more bland side, but my meal from here was probably the best meal I've had while I've been in the UK. I started with the calamari, which had a nice sweet/tangy sauce to accompany it. My main course was the traditional roast beef with some tasty vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding. Dessert was a toffee pudding with ice cream. Overall quite a tasty and filling meal at a reasonable price. Would totally recommend eating here again!

Stumbled upon this fab place quite by chance and so glad we did! On a busy Saturday evening we were lucky to get a table. Super service and delicious food. Our waiter, was Ben - he was obviously very busy but took the time to help us choose food and drinks and we were not disappointed. Thank you for a lovely evening!!

This has to be the best restaurant in the north west, the food never fails to impress, and it’s quite affordable too given the quality. In addition the staff are always very pleasant, and the general atmosphere is brilliant

All staff were really friendly throughout our stay. The atmosphere was very relaxed and casual. The food was gorgeous! We had soup of the day for starters, I had the roast chicken breast for mains and my partner had the double patty burger, we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We didn’t order pudding because we were stuffed but we saw lots going out and they looked gorgeous. We had a bottle of wine to share, we got the cheaper one as it was recommended to be sweeter and it lovely! Very happy we didn’t have to pay too much for it.The restaurant felt very clean & covid safe as it was quite busy.We would definitely visit again!
