We always have the best food at Holdi. The service is impeccable. The best Indian in Liverpool, hands down. The only down side is that there is no place to park but the food is worth the inconvenience. 100/10 We dine in and get Take out.

We ordered a takeaway from Holdi this evening. We ordered poppadoms and chutney tray, other starters and meals with rice and nan bread. When my partner got back there was no chutneys so we had to eat dry poppodoms. The Nan bread was black. Not a patch on The Spice of India or Purple Olive.

THIS IS A 4.5 STAR REVIEWI wish i took pictures but we were sooo hungry!!!!!Booths are quite small and uncomfortable but we asked the staff to move us and they did immediately without any issues. It was quite cold to begin with but again they made some adjustments to the temperature so we were more comfortable.Staff were very friendly and attentive, 10/10 to them all.Would have been a 5 but my starter of butterfly prawns were really oily. All other dishes were prefect and they catered to my allergies. The garlic naans were out of this world!Extremely limited oarking but parking available opposite in a small carpark.

The four of went to Holdi to eat last night after hearing recommendations from several family members and friends. We entered after booking a table and were stood in the lobby waiting with a freezing cold draft blowing on us for around ten minutes. Eventually one of us stepped past the queue and said we were booked in, we were shown to a table but were then moved a few minutes later due to a mix up.The table we were seated at the 2nd time was in the corner right down the bottom of the restaurant, making it very difficult to attract any staff members attention. Because of this, we had to stand up four times, to ask for menus, to ask to order drinks, to ask to order food, and to ask where the poppadoms were 20 minutes later. (they had been sent to another table). When the food itself came, everything was incredible - from the temperature to the portion sizes. I can see why this place is so loved!Personally though I felt we had to battle for the attention of the staff, it was far too busy with really not enough floor staff seeing to customers. 4/5 stars, will try coming back when it's a little quieter.
