Great coffee. Scones are usually the best we've tasted at National Trust properties but today's were a little stale, 😢.They are happy to accommodate dogs at the outside tables and have fresh drinking water for them.Would have been 5 stars but for today's stale scones. What a pity.

Love this cafe great place to hangout pity you have to pay to get into the estate if you just want to go to the cafe but I guess they need to make money for the charity

If you go after 3 for refreshments the drinks are in take away cups, even if you stay inside. Some staff are not very friendly but it does depend on what day you go!! Which is ashame.

Clean and friendly, scones and coffee very tasty and a fair price.

Had Scouse with crusty bread for lunch and the other half had a cheese and onion pasty. Very tasty.

Lovely little cafe, the hot drinks stopped us from being gelded by the cold. This was over Xmas period. It's a great place all year. Cafe is great.

Very warm here on a cold day,slow service but will not order coffee again certainly not up to standard.will continue to visit though staff very friendly

Just had midmorning hot chocolate and scones. Both were excellent. The hot food on offer looked lovely. It's a big airy room with good social distancing between tables. The staff were masked and very helpful. As good an experience as is possible in these times.

Lovely food, great volunteers, very busy. No different from any other national trust cafe.

I love their food! It is pure quality and their Wet Nelly is just like my mam used to make.They do Vegan curry pasties, which are gorgeous. I know and trust that myself and my family are guaranteed a good quality meal or snack.Worth every penny.
