Got the feeling the manager was a bit overbearing, which made for an awkward atmosphere among the staff. The settings were beautiful, but the staff spent the whole afternoon rearranging the furniture around us whilst we were eating, very distracting. Cocktails were delicious and strong, as they should be. And the scones were HUGE. We went for a birthday, but there were several baby showers and Hen partys in whilst we were there. The afternoon tea was pretty good on the whole 👍

Stunning little restaurant. We went for a hen do, and had to wait for the hen to arrive the staff were amazing with us. Nothing was to much trouble, when we finished eating there was live music on. Instagramable little jewel. Lasses get yourself there...

Absolutely beautiful experience from start to finish , staff were so helpful always there when needed. Best part we couldn't finish it and they packed it all up and let us take it home, cannot fault anything.

Really disappointed.Requested to book for a meal for a hen doVery quick to reply which was great but as soon as you ask anything else or ask for help to explain how it all works ( take note don’t bother asking about anything other than the Prosecco package or afternoon tea ) they just say no we don’t offer that to anything you ask. Such a shame as I was so excited to book here as it’s gorgeous. It turns out now we do have the time to do two courses as previously we didn’t (Jam said 1hr 15 wasn’t ample time, fair enough)and that was the issue I was trying to work around but I have chosen somewhere else now where the people were friendly and helpful.

Approached a problem with the front of house who didn’t care, addressed the problem on trip advisor to which they outright lied in a reply, then instagrammed them privately to ask again why they lied to which they blocked me!Trust me, don’t bother going here unless you keep your expectations low and then you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely inside …But the meal at £33 per head was a waste of money the steak was as tough as old Boots the knife wouldn’t even cut it. We were a party of 40 or more & I was given 4 steaks to bring home from friends.for my dog .the prawn cocktail was mostly thick sickly sauce with very few prawns.I’d not eaten all day looking forward to the meal…well came home hungry. Would Never eat there again.

My friend and I went in for a quick cocktail with our wives, apart from the owner, we were the only 2 guys in a room full of about 50 women. But the atmosphere was so good we stayed for an hour and indulged in 2 each of their tasty pina coladas.
