Nice food. Chinatown was very disappointing though.

Much the same experience as so many people who come here. Never have I ever seen restaurant staff so consistently rude and judgmental towards customers - who are paying extremely over priced amounts for average food (compared to competitors).Every time I’ve been here the staff have been rude to me (despite always being polite with them). They automatically assume that if you’re white, you’re there to be abusive and drunk, even when you’re clearly not being so. They I asked if they did tofu, she said yes, so I said can I have tofu and vegetable chow mien. She charged me 9 pounds for separate salt n pepper tofu, as well 12 quid for a separate portion of chow mien. They stay open later than any other Chinese - clearly a business tactic. If you’ve chosen to do this, you have to be prepared that you’re going to get a late night crowd. All of the staff here seem scarred by serving drunk people, so they treat every one that comes in with utter contempt. I’ve never seen staff be so bad to customers ever, it’s like kitchen nightmares. The food, by the way, is the most bang average Chinese you will find. Nothing out of the ordinary, but a good 30% more expensive than everywhere else. If you do anything, avoid this place like the plague. They don’t deserve your money.

Went for tea this evening, great staff, great service, food was delicious and came promptly. Would definitely recommend. Cheers Peter.

Good food, but the waiters are super rude and completely ignores you and were so rude when they spoke to us. When we told them my friend had gotten the wrong food she ignored us and then answered in a rude tone we are closing soon (even thought it was still 30 minutes until they closed) and she walked away. They made us feel like we had to hurry up and eat our food and came over with the check right after we had gotten our food (almost like they didn’t think we would pay). They also forgot to bring the drinks and we had to ask 6 times before they brought them over and by then we had already finished our food. They also seemed annoyed every time we asked them something. Awful experience!

I popped in after work for a late night tea and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Everything hot wnd fresh. There is tofu available upon request and I can highly recommend the sweet and sour as it’s fabulous

·

Food was lovely staff friendly but very very bizzy at 11pm (only restaurant open in chinatown at that time)

Went to eat at this restaurant with my partner and we experienced such racist behaviour from the waiter from the start she asked us to pay now and she did not ask any of the other customers to pay we did and ignored it then when we wanted to ask her questions about the dishes she gave us an attitude and acted as if we were a burden that she did not want there we were the only ethnic people in the restaurant and the type of service she provided to everyone else was very different to that we received. It was so uncomfortable we just decided to take our food away and leave. Horrible experience.

Decent chinese food for UK standard. Nonetheless, still far from Chinese standard, wish they can make fine Chinese food in the future to promote better Chinese food culture in UK
