Kassap Meat House in Liverpool

This was my second visit. The first being on mother's day this year with my daughter and my mum. We loved it and so decided to visit again for my mum's birthday with my son and my daughters boyfriend this time too. My son and I had octopus to start. It was delicious. My mum enjoyed her calamari and my daughter and her boyfriend loved the beef carpaccio.We ordered 2 tomahawks between 5 of us which was plenty of food. It looked like too much but we finished it easily! Everything was perfect including the delicious creamy potatoes. Our server was a sweet and helpful young woman who was attentive without being in our way. When the bill arrived we were pleasantly surprised.All in all it was a lovely experience and it would appear that the food is consistently good.

Wow! What an amazing place. Food is superb, staff are so friendly and welcoming. I had the tomahawk steak medium rare and it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a steakhouse in Liverpool town centre don't overlook this place.

We've been a few times now and usually share a platter - staff are so helpful and the atmosphere is always lovely. We've never needed starters or desserts so not sure what they're like but the meals are out of this world. The steak is cooked to perfection (I like mine blue) and the servings are big! The sides are always fresh and the staff were really accommodating to any changes or questions etc. Drinks prices are moderate but we spent roughly £80 for 2 people with a platter 2 beers and 2 soft drinks and it was worth every penny.

Restaurant specialises in steaks American style beef with a middle Eastern touch. The meat was cooked very well but could have come with more vegetables on the side instead of potatoes. Staff friendly but didn't have a clue of the beef provenance. British? Brazil? Argentine? For the price I would of hoped they knew to confirm the quality. There are a lot of meat shops to compete on BOLD Street.

been to many steak houses but this is probably the worst unfortunately. Had high hopes as it was Turkish themed, but the food was absolutely bland as anything. Everything apart from the steaks are just covered in various sauces. The meat itself was okay. If you are in Liverpool and want good steak then definitely go to Etchi Mehmet which is 50 yards from Kassap and that is authentic Turkish style steak where they also do the butter cooked sirloin steak which is probably the tastiest steak ever

Great food and ambience. Centrally located so convenient after a days worth of shopping/sight seeing.The staff were attentive and friendly, regularly checking that everything was ok.We ordered the Mumbai chicken and Pattaya prawns for starters. Although the portions were smaller than expected, they tasted great and were perfectly cooked.For mains, we had the Texas steak with Diana sauce and fries, and the garlic leaf steak with potatoes. Both were cooked really well, although the Garlic leaf steak was slightly lacking in flavour and seasoning.Nice restaurant, clean and airy and super friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely visit with a friend. Great service from all staff. Steak was delicious but the Turkish sausage was divine. Would definitely return and recommend

Very lovely smiling staff. Hearty portion sizes. Only criticism was the lemon in my veg just tainted everything and felt like I was eating vinegar veg.Lose the lemon guys, other than that, a nice experience all round.

Very nice place. Food was delicious. Friendly staff. Prices for a stake house is normal. 15-20£. If you wanna meat from butcher would be 2x and more. Even kids menu was good and real meat. Tasty. Plenty of space. Drinks like everywhere. Maybe need some deserts.

Excellent food & atmosphere, we were a large group and all the food really good. Quality of the steaks is very high. However, we had to wait over 30 minutes for our table to be ready even though we had booked well in advanced, being a larger group it wasn't easy to wait at the bar without getting in the way.
