"Our restaurant is currently closed as per government guidelines. We will reopen as soon as possible but for any enquiries please email [email protected] Welcome to KOUKASH Liverpool. We’re small plates. We’re seafood. We’re incredible Mediterranean flavours. We have temporary reduced our current menu and opening hours. We intended to be fully operational in the not so distant future so watch this space. KOUKASH Liverpool was founded by racehorse owner Dr. Marwan Koukash, inspired by his passion for bringing people together through the love of food. The Mediterranean family values are instilled throughout the restaurant flare and Spanish roots compleme"

Stayed at the Double Tree attached - went in at around 8pm.Not good, zero atmosphere in an evening (not even any quiet music playing). Owner is plastered on every picture on every wall which is a bit weird. Also, strange metal tables which made you feel like you were sat in a prison canteen.Went for breakfast the next morning included in HiltonHonors, the only thing edible was the bacon. The rest was luke warm and poor quality ingredients, not the usual Hilton produce.Even the coffee cups had grime/hairs inside them...all in all very strange experience and you can go to much nicer places on the roads just off here.

When we arrived I got 3 drinks at the bar a lime and soda (didn't have lime) so got 2 blackcurrant and sodas and 1 large wine came to over ÂŁ16Went for afternoon tea and we spent ÂŁ82.34 for 3 afternoon teas ÂŁ24.95 +10%service chargewhich was very disappointing better off getting a Boots meal dealThe service was poor when asked if we enjoying our meal we said no and they shrugged it off.Sandwich a mixed selection of unidentified fillingsWe we're unable to eatThere are plenty of better bar's and restaurants in Liverpool big mistake on our partVery poor presentation and contentWouldn't recommend at all

Bit on the expensive side, ÂŁ27 for 4 drinks but good food and good service, nice service team - well done. Knocked off one star because I was tired of seeing Mr Koukash on most of the photos in the restaurant. That's a little self-centered and would rather see some nice paintings. Please try harder.

Always great drinks, though they don't have an actual mocktails menu, if you walk for one they will concoct something, and each of them were delicious! Chilled relaxed vibe, highly recommend.

Once we were seated, 15 minutes had passed until our drinks order was taken at which point I asked for a drinks menu? To which I was told there was not much point looking at one as they were far to busy to make most of the drinks on there anyway! Within previous employment myself and my partner have both worked within this industry so we were trying to be understanding. However, the restaurant was not overly busy and we had ran a much busier restaurant and the same amount of staff they had on! We were then asked about our food order to which I explained we were on a Virgin experience voucher and we get 3 small plates each so is this off a different menu like the one on their website? We were told it was what was on their Sunday menu so we order from there. The starters were lovely however, halfway through eating them a waiter approached with our bill? I couldn’t help but laugh as what restaurant asks you to pay before you have even eaten, other than the likes of KFC or McDonald’s! I explained that we would like to order more drinks ect throughout the meal to which I was informed you pay as you go it’s the bosses orders and we could see him keep popping his head around to check! Next we were told there was no steak left so we asked if it was because we were on a voucher deal as we would happily pay extra but they explained there was just simply none left. So we ordered something different which isn’t a problem. However, in waiting for our meal, the wrong order was brought to our table with steaks on it. We explained that was not ours, to then watch it be taken to a table that had ordered after us! The lamb burger was awful everything was cold and the bun burnt with a very thin dry and gritty burger so I left most of it and my partner left most of his cod as the dish was tasteless. We were also left with no cutlery as it went with our starter plates we asked for cutlery twice but it never arrived! The chocolate brownie was lovely but the whole experience I have never experienced anything quite like it maybe it was because we were on a voucher deal so they weren’t particularly interested.
