It's always lovely in here. Even when I didn't book a table for Valentine's day they sat us straight away and the food was excellent. The staff were extremely attentive and helpful too.

Not been for a long time, we booked for 6 o'clock on Saturday it was really busy, good atmosphere ,we were seated quickly and the drinks arrived soon after. The food was really nice hot and fresh, the waiters we're very tentative. We will certainly be back very soon. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Well do e keep it up.

1st time back in a long time today. Early pm sitting. Food very good. Staff professional and polite with right amount of enthusiasm without being intrusive. Interior has a atmospheric presence with plenty of period detail. On a busy night this would be the place to go. Recommend.

Lovely place with excellent atmosphere. Bar upstairs and dining downstairs made the whole venue feel like a big, family get together.The staff were as attentive, professional and maintained a relaxed atmosphere. We were never without drinks or waiting too long for food.Food was generally of a high quality with good portion size for the cost. Plenty of veggie options to choose from.I had the cauliflower 'wings' to start (amazing and not too filling). For main I had butternut squash and crispy sage risotto (delicious, could have used more sage to break up the softness of the risotto a little more). Dessert was an oreo cheesecake (my own fault for being greedy, massive portion, but very tasty!)One suggestion to improve-The menu was super extensive which seemed to overface some of the people I was dining with- maybe a different format (book style with pages allocated to pizza, pasta, burgers etc).Overall one of the many gems sitting on Lark Lane, well worth the visit!
