Matou in Liverpool

Great view but disappointing. Food came out so quickly char sui was still frozen inside! No apology, ended up cancelling as it just took too long to reappear the rest of party had nearly finished their meals. Prices are high and you'd expect better. Plates cleared whilst still finishing last mouthful. Sort out the basics and it could be great

Lovely restaurant and food, I had a large table booked 22 of us the staff we're amazing couldn't do enough for us and thank you to Amy who got us all a table overlooking the river mersey we will definitely be back 🤗

Food was nice but portions could of been bigger. However views were great of over the water

After eating here for the first time I was left disappointed.The food was cold and served on cold plates.It had to be taken back to the kitchen to be heated back up in the microwave as we were waiting for the rice to come which took 5 minutes.When it came back the second time it was still Luke warm .I can’t understand why the food wasn’t served on hot skillets and the plates weren’t hot too and nothing came out together either.Won’t be returning as there are better eateries elsewhere.Your waiting on staff are lovely and this has no reflection on them at all .

Went to book for the ferry.... Had a 50 minute wait and found this on top of the booking office.... Fab views, brilliant cocktails, really friendly staff.

Good selection of Asian food which is well presented and a pleasure to eat. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere makes this an enjoyable experience.

Starters (sharing platter) we're great.Main was very disappointing but the staff were more than helpful and swapped the dish for another.. sadly it was still not to my liking.Beautiful place, great staff, and great atmosphere but pricey and not to my taste.Sorry. I really wanted to love it!

Beautiful outlook over the river whilst dining in and amazing architectural views from the outdoor seating area. Food and cocktails were fantastic. I would add though that we nearly missed finding this place, so more signage at the entrance would be better.

Very noisy place, so forget about having a sweet romantic time with your other half! (We tried at least...)Food is well presented and tasty, we have been surprised by some of the dishes and the creativity from the cuisine team.Staff is trying to do their best in this noisy environment and they will look after you.Nicely located, just few steps away from the Beatles statue and just boarding the Mersey river .Weather permitting, you might want to get to the terrace and enjoy the view on the Liverpool Docks.
