The service was fast and pleasant with every dish arriving at the table when you would expect it (we were a party of 7 so not so easy to get timings right!). The food was also second to non; cooked to perfection! Will definetly be visiting this place again!

First visit to the Mayflower and my last. The meals are so over priced for what you get. Kids meals are spot on and good value, but menu prices are way too high. Ordered a set meal for 2 £46 and was really disappointed in the quantity of the food. 2 soups, 2 ribs, 2 rolls, 2 crispy things, 2 small mains and 1 rice between 2. Felt ripped off and really disappointed in the food. All were really small portions. Would not come back again.

Iv been coming hear for years and it's changed hands a few times I belive, but the food as always stayed the same, fresh and cooked to order, although the portions are really small now, you can eat all you like really so no complaint, lovely food and lovely service but a small (15/20 mls) glass of coke did cost £4.00 so this time I wasn't feeling to leave a tip. But price rise and small portions are down to new management.

Couldn't quite understand this place! Food was ok but too expensive for what we got. Service was fast but staff were busy, carried on 3 conversations at once whilst taking order. I asked for a vegetable chow mein. I got a plate of noodles with bean sprouts in. No other veg! Charged £8 for it. Tables had table cloths on but I think as they were cleared the cloths werent replaced so we sat at a paint splattered wooden table. Just all a bit odd. Maybe understaffed? We wouldn't return!

One of the best Chinese dinners I had! It’s a small, independent, family owned restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance with a group of friends and decided to give it a try. The food is outstandingly delicious and the staff extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely return!

Had dinner with my group last night. There're only two waitresses serving us but they served us really fast. The food is just ok.
