Nice and spacious and they had a good acoustic singer on when we went. A good vibe with plenty of choice for drinks

Nice big spaced bar. Big screens for football or any live event. Great music, fun atmosphere, also live music too.

Had a great day there. Perfect day with the sun and a few drinks. Table service took a while due to the numbers as it was full. Nice little vibe there and security was right as time went on. Will go again!

Great atmosphere watching the cup final. Amazing how the runners knew exactly where we were to bring are drinks back. Quickly reacted when my partner obtained a head injury although first aid boxes need someone to take responsibility for as not complete with valuable items. Otherwise amazing in all shape and form.

I had a really bad situation 5 minutes ago. The waitress gave me beer in a glass. 5 minutes after that other guy told me that I had to transfer my beer to a plastic cupā¦ House Rulesā¦ But now my beer tastes like peeā¦ all because they made me transfers the beer instead of give another beerā¦ Their fault and who is losing money is me! UNBELIEVABLE

payed for our drinks and sat at the tables outside. went to go inside to use the toilet and werenāt allowed to by the bouncers as one member of the group was refused from a place opposite for wearing shorts (with your bouncer not bothering to ask the bouncers opposite why they refused one member of our group. security seemed very arrogant and seems like he only stopped us using the facilities because he was bored. bit of a joke really as we were paying customers simply sat drinking at your tables

I dont understand what is going on at that place. Was passing by, heard nice live music so I thought I would go in for a pint. The security stopped me asking me if I am alone..to which I said yes, he said I cant go in unless I know somebody inside. The place wasnt full (Thursday evening), I wasnt drunk or rude in any way. I didnt understand, I even asked for explanation and he said they dont allow ppl who come alone in. So I better walked away and went to sleep. Funny though, all around the city are signs about respect yet God help you if you expect any respect at this place. Complete hypocrisy.

Pretty mental part of town that our Scouse mate told a group of us to avoid, so of course we ended up there.. Loud music, lots of revellers even on a school night. Late night bar was pretty good fun for a few old guys š

The security is very arrogantThe security tried to push me ( while I'm in the street ) because I asked to talk to his managerI'm trying to reach the supervisor by any means but they aren't allowing meI just got offended and pushed without reason by the very arrogant staff of McCooly's pub10 Feb 2022 7:25 pm I was heading to this pub to watch Liverpool game live .. there was a very tall security at the gate .. he asked me to open my backpack and I did that .then he started inspecting me ( between my arm and body) without taking my approval .I asked him if this is needed ... then he said " you know what.. you aren't going inside " I asked why ... he said that he is the manager and he doesn't allow me to enter... I asked him that I want to talk to his supervisor but he refusedI didn't enter at all .. I kept staying outside..A staff member came outside and told me go away from here ... I asked her why ... she told me because we don't want you here ... then the guard pushed me from my arms (while I'm in the street) strongly without reason he shouted at me to go away ..I tried to call the phone number of the place but it's not workingI believe that the city has recorded everythingI'll do my best to report this case as hate and racism crime
