McCooley's Mathew Street in Liverpool

Went on a hen do the match was on the oub was rammed. The atmosphere was electric! The only thing I can say is that we had to wait about 15 mins to be served which was understandable, the guys outside were fab and looked after us. If you want a decent day drink/night get yourself down. I'll be back definitely 👍

Huge bar noisy but good fun. Very cheap during the day. Some of the staff seem very inexperienced but I think that's down to the times we're in. Excellent food.

The food is very good but the music is a little bit too loud.

I love this bar, cheap drinks and always a good atmosphere here. Often have live singers and always show major sports event on the many TV screens. Really spacious though does get really packed on a weekend. Security are friendly and polite and bar staff are great, always keeping calm when often they work under a great deal of stress.

Good for the footy, just wish they would close windows as it was chilly and Guinness in plastic glass as they had no branded ones and not allowed to serve in say tetley glass. At these prices you'd think they would serve it correctly. Staff great and good atmosphere and music 🎶

Fab live music!!! Atmosphere was great. Best Irish bar I have been too in Liverpool. Was dark however and tables weren't cleaned etc more of a nightclub feel

Banging place , live music and great atmosphere

We had only stopped for food, and it was really good! We got the burger and the spice box - loved the coleslaw. Live music came on as we were leaving which would have been real fun to watch. Large place and good atmosphere!

Really nice atmosphere. Lots of room inside to relax with a beer or order a meal. Visited in afternoon and enjoyed the happy hour offer on drinks £2.50, Guinness £3. I'd imagine a great place in the evening too.

Cheap drinks. Gorgeous sharing platter. Nice rooftop terrace. A really good chain of pubs. I love the Irish fry on a morning!
