Very poor costumer service. I had booked for my family as they were visiting me for the weekend. Bearing in mind we had booked a table, we had to wait over half an hour to be seated, with no communication on what was happening as we waited. We then waited another half hour but left as we had not been seen by any staff to order food. I'm extremely disappointed as the food looked and smelt amazing. Needs lessons in good hospitality. We then went to the big noodle bar on the other side of the street. Got severed as soon as we got through the door and had amazing customer service through out the evening. I will be going back there again as the food and the whole experience was lush. Highly recommend the big noodle bar.

My favourite Chinese in Liverpool gorgeous food but a bit over priced the drinks where very expensive for a glass of coke, staff are very slow though with taking our order we did have a lovely gentleman (I'm guessing the owner) come over and ask if everything was okay best to book a table if your going after 5 it can get really busy it also does take aways.

Dim sum was really good. Peking duck was horrible. It was basically almost like dried pulled pork.I mean, what happened to the skin!?Anyways, I would avoid this place if you are Caucasian or maybe not Asian. We witnessed very rude service between the staff/manager with some customers who were Caucasian. Reverse racism? Restaurant basically demanded them to pay first before even getting their food while every other table didn't have to. Customers caved in and got their food and complained one of their dishes tasted funny and wanted the staff to taste themselves, which they wouldn't. So staff said they will refund their money for that dish but they were hungry and wanted to get something else instead and was basically refused another dish saying their standards were too high and they were not going to like anything they bring out. And if they were no ok with that, they can leave. They realized they were not welcome there and got up , got their money back and left.We were left speechless at the entire exchange.

The food was great and the service was good. The only downside is that they say they take reservations through the phone. But they never pick up the phone. And I tried book a table in person, they say walk ins only. So if you want to go Mei Mei, which I would recommend, better to get there early and queue up!

Not bad this place! I noticed some Chinese restaurants started charging 10% services charged.

Brilliant Asian restaurant! We went for our Christmas meal with work, huge friendly welcome from the staff!Nice varied menu with something for everyone, being traditional Chinese food, seafood, vegetarian and vegan options, starters and desserts, we all loved it! Reasonable prices too!The building is lovely and has great carved windows with koi, I do recommend this place!

Probably the best “no fuss” Chinese in Liverpool and the fact there are many Chinese people eating there is proof of it.Easy menu with some dishes a bit more on the “European” side but I truly recommend to have a look at what the other guests/tables are having and order whatever you find appealing. Chinese food is so much more than sweet&sour!

Delicious Chinese food. A bit high on the prices but serving was generous and the quality is very good. Siu mai was very delicious. The Chicken in lemon honey sauce and king prawn was very savoury as well. Worth the visit.
