Moloko in Liverpool

An unpleasant experience to say the least. Bar was empty and security team were excessively aggressive. Was considering putting in a formal complaint but from the responses given to the other reviews, it seems my feedback will not be well received.

Great night out spread over two floors.

Took about 30mins to be served in a empty bar

Worst bar I've ever been too. Went there had a pint and got my wife a red wine......well some red coloured drink that tasted awful. Then went to a gig came back later..glutton for punishment I know. They turned us away. The place was empty they said it was a private party. I don't think so. Will never go again. And would not recommend to anyone to anyone else. AVOiD!!!

Went on sat and sat in the garden area. Spent most of the day there. Upon leaving my mate took a pic of the bar. 3 members of staff ran after us, verbally abusing us and telling us we had broken the law. We were forced to delete the photograph in front of the 3 staff that had followed us down the street. Upon retrieving it from the recently deleted file on my mates phone, we saw there was a crowd at the bar, and none of them were wearing masks, during a global pandemic. Wish we would have told them To phone the police now as the evidence was more damning to them than it was to us.

Was made to wear a mask to walk to our table yet ALL staff had no masks on when making & serving drinks, one staff member was wearing a mask on below their chin, that was it. When we asked what was the reason for this, they had no answer. Disgusting service during a pandemic especially as we have worked as health professionals during the pandemic.

Bad service, staff were nice but useless, waited for our drinks for nearly two hours, asked multiple people but was ignored, had to beg in the end. Wanted a refund as the bar was shutting when we finally got our drinks, talked to the manager and refund was refused. Would not recommend.

Honestly our gang's favourite bar. Moloko staff are always friendly and look after you. We aren't always the easiest group as we don't really know what we want to drink most nights but the staff always help recommend interesting drinks or cocktails that they think we'll like. It's a great bar, highly recommend it.

My daughter and friends were at Moloko last night and had their phones stolen. Several others also had thir phones taken. My daughter's group were sure they knew who had done it - there was a gang of boys two of whom had struck up a conversation as a distraction. My daughter reported the thefts straight away both to security and to the manager and were falsely reassured that they would take action. In fact they did nothing and my daughter's party was left hanging around for several hours. The club's employees and management handled this with stunning apathy. I feel incredibly frustrated at their inaction. Find-a-phone confirmed the stolen items were still on the premises and the suspects were pointed out but still the club did nothing. Hugely disappointing.
