Absolutely hands down best restaurant ever. Food was AMAZING complete taste sensation. I had the chip butter to start and then shared butter chicken curry and Keema it was delightful. Oh and a cheeky cocktail as it was my birthday meal

We ate here a couple of weeks ago for my Birthday, the waiter was very helpful in explaining the portion sizes, and describing the different meals. Food was absolutely amazing I can't wait to eat here again, I even got a brownie with a candle, oh and the Chai Rum Sling cocktail was 10/10

Is good. Didnt like the automatic charity donation and service charge. Took them off the bill though no issues. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food was very nice, fresh and flavoursome. Best Ruby I've had in a long time.

There is only one Mowgli in London but you can find them in most northern cities if you would like to enjoy excellent Indian street food. Great interiors, atmosphere and service. My favourite Indian outside Southall in west London.

Really unique menu and dishes offered here. It's Indian food, meant to be like the Indians eat at home or on their streets, and the tastes are very intense and beautifully all merged together. Everything comes in small portions, very convenient if you want to try different things and share with others to try as many dishes as you can. Really cozy, warm vibes, very nicely decorated.

Breakdown of the overall experience as an Indian, dining in an Indian restaurant in the UK:Staff - Extremely courteous and polite. Got escorted to our reserved table and greeted several times.Setting - Nice indoor two storey seating. The lighting was majestic coupled with some music which I expected to bear some Indian flavours but alas, it was loud and not exactly suited to the vibe of an Indian dinner. The plates and utensils actually reminded me of Indian style dabbas (tiffin boxes) but did not like its quality as they felt very cheap.Drinks - Won’t comment much as we didn’t try any. Me being a whiskey guy was offended at the catalogue not mentioning any whiskey, which is a red flag! Got myself a mango lassi which was not at all good. Was creamy, but extremely low on sweetness.Food - The street food we ordered for starters was Bhel Puri and it tasted good. Easily sharable between two people. For the mains, we got mother butter chicken, house lamb curry, puri and basmati rice. Although dejected at the low quantity, we were hoping the taste would be nice. Again left disappointed, the food was not that great from a viewpoint of Indian taste buds. The masala (spices) was undercooked and the meat was not as tender as you would expect. Apart from this, we inquired about the tiffin box meals and were told that customers wouldn’t exactly know what dish is being served for the day - which is like !!?!?!Hygiene - The overall hygiene is satisfactory, but the toilets were awful. I didn’t expect a queue outside the toilets with just one urinal for men!Final Verdict: Would have rated it above 4 if the food was better, but 3 is me being generous. The location is amazing and easily accessible. I would recommend it to my friends and also hope they have a better experience than what I had.

By no means am I an expert on Indian food but I have to say this was amazing food. I haven’t had a lot of Indian food experiences but I was pretty amazed by the flavours. Whether the food is authentic or not I’ll leave that to people who love Indian food, but you will not be disappointed if you choose to come. Love the ambience and the aesthetics of the place. Definitely worth going.

We really enjoyed a meal here at Mowgli Water Street. The food was lovely albeit slightly cold, I felt like the automatic 10% service charge and ÂŁ1 charity donation was a little presumed however - it added ÂŁ8 to our bill and we didn't really have a say. Otherwise its a fab restaurant.

This is the best restaurant for indian starters and chaats, especially sticky chicken wings was amazing. I will really suggest this restaurant for proper indian starters and chaats with your friends, kids, and family. The staffs was really friendly and caring. From the first floor of the restaurant, the view of the road is really amazing, and the proper tiffin box experience took me to my school days. One of the best pleasant ambiance.I would definitely not suggest this place for Proper indian main course food because the food we ordered was bit sweet and not value for the price.Sorry to say this Mowgli team, the only Negative is curries if you get to it, it is really appropriated.

Delicious starters. Friendly staff. Check before ordering your main dishes as some of them are a bit sweet. A must visit to experience the authentic Indian way of Tiffin system, still in use in some parts of India.
