New Lorens Chinese & English Takeaway in Liverpool

Not once had to give a bad review before but I’ll be as honest as possible. £40 order, chips rock hard worst chips I’ve ever had (are these frozen!) over done, meal trays floating in grease and chinese meals very greasy. Managed to make a meal out of the prawn crackers However and chilli sauce dip. The rest is going in the bin wouldn’t feed it to my dog. When owned by Jet this chippy lead by example was impeccable. The worst Chinese I’ve ever had and was ordered for a family occasion too of which the meal is ruined. Place needs closing down

Foods nice, but the chicken & sweetcorn soups a little bit sweet.

Not the best on the road, if you ordered chips the lady who put them in the paper would eat one and then use same hands to handle your chips.

Been here few times now, noodle boxes are amazing, they are my favourite, full of flavour, loads inside them, ask for just prawns in one, no problem. Spring rolls & prawn toast (which is very thick) both lovely. Dim sum combo fresh an tasty. Love going here. Normally get it delivered wait about 45 - 60 mins (not a problem for us). Did collect myself on sat & i could see why delivery takes a long time. There must of been at least 20 - 30 orders pinned up. Considering they are so busy with orders an delivery, we have never had a problem with food being cold or anything missing. Though if possible I would recommend ordering over the phone or on the app. It's a lot quicker. Fantastic place.

Do some good food from Chinese to burgers to kebabs n English meals. Go again 100%. In fact 2 nights on trot tried English yesterday, Chinese today great food excellent service

Delicious food if you're a tramp ora smack head I suppose... The MEAT spring rolls had NO MEAT and they were pouring grease, didn't even look like spring rolls really.... If like me you like GOOD Chinese food I'd keep away from this place.

Been ordering from New Lorens for 15 years, used to be the best chippy in the world, the past year, the chips taste like carboard but the rest of the food was nice, ordered food tonight and the chips where still like carboard and the rest was awful, its so sad to see such a great chippy go so down hill! Never again!

Food delivered 10 mins ago, it's all going in the bin! Chips are warm-ups, dark and taste vile. The carton of curry was mistaken for soup it's so thin and tasteless. Chicken fried rice is bland and the Singapore vermicelli was just 'ok'. Never ordering from them again. Waste of money.
