Used to come here as a student in Tthe 70s. Great little pub in the back streets of the city centre, just around the corner from Liverpool one. Sport on the TVs and focus on the local teams on match days. For a city centre pub the prices are well below the expected and the staff are really helpful and efficient, as well as being friendly. Two cask ales, plenty of other draught beers and the usual spirits and wines. We now make a point of going there when shopping or generally in the city centre.

A legendary Liverpool pub! Only had a drink here didn't eat though but have done previously. The pub could do with lick of paint and a tidy up and get rid of damp smells in back room area. Still a great place to go

Fantastic value for money the food is exceptional for the price!! 6.95 for a mixed grill!! Crazy good value!!
