Our canteen is the best in the world in Liverpool

Classic cooking, using the best Britain and Wirral have to offer. All while being taken really good care from the service team! Really nice experience and delicious food- in particular starters and mains.

5 stars is not enough. The food here is seriously wonderful. It was our first time and was a lively way to spend Valentine's evening. It defines fine dining but is not overly formal. You feel comfortable as sin as you step in and given a warm welcome by the concierge.From the chef's snacks through to the dessert your mouth was watering in anticipation of the next bite. No joke!We also decided on a flight of wine each and each wine selected by the sommelier was a perfect accompaniment for the course you had. Seriously good value.Atmosphere was welcoming, relaxing and couples talked between tables.Interesting history to the building as well for history buffs.Prefect night and definitely will go back, hopefully sooner rather than later.Set some money aside for a taste extravaganza and an experience that'll last in your memory for a long time!

A simply wonderful place. The service cannot be beaten and the food is sensational.It is my favourite place in the UK to eat and Liverpool is very fortunate to have it.Hats off to Paul and the team. We are looking forward to our next time at the Art School👍🍷

Excellent unobtrusive service. Tasting menu with wine flight came in at around £200pp for dinner. Well worth it for the experience. Highlight was a piece of venison presented perfectly with an orange sauce. If you've ever wondered if fine dining is worth a go, I would recommend this as a place to start learning.

Had a wonderful tasting menu during our stay in liverpool and it was the highlight of our stay. Started with champagne and had a lovely bottle of valpolicella. You can see into the kitchen and everything looked sooo calm. My favourite course ( and the lady next to me who we got chatting to!) was the scallop. Daz thought that the lamb 3 ways was the star. Beautiful interior which was spotless . Great service from staff

Incredible dining experience. Beautiful restaurant, fantastic attention to detail. Attentive and knowledgeable team.The food is spectacular, we had the tasting menu and experienced course after course of delicious food. Met Chef as we left, absolute gentleman.Thank you for a lovely evening.

While the food was good for the most part, with attentive presentation and local ingredients, and the venue itself beautiful, a subpar service ruined the experience this evening. One should not have to ask for more water three times during a service, nor wait 20 minutes staring at empty dessert plates before being able to ask for a cheque. I've had more attentive service at a texmex in Brooklyn.We are in Liverpool from New York, and I was looking for a special way to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary this evening at The Art School. Typically, after sharing news of a special occasion, a fine dining restaurant will do something small, personal, to indicate the occasion. For many, this is a small extra course. The Art School staff didn't even acknowledge verbally it with a "congratulations".One last point: in fine dining, it is the little things that matter. Turning over our menu to find a pre-theatre prix-fixe menu didn't set the right tone.All in all, an unfortunately disappointing experience.

I am not a man of enough education to be able to do this remarkable place justice using just words on a page. Its is sublime, excellent, superb, an experience to behold. Service and food are beyond mear explanation. Book a table, and prepare, for a meal you will not forget.
