Staff were lovely & very helpful but the leek & potato soup was pretty bland & the bread rolls on offer were borderline stale. Been advised to try their sandwiches so I will return & May change my rating accordingly.

Lovely food, great hot chocolate and a fab cup of tea. Spotlessly clean - thank you very much 😁

·

Freshly made sandwich and coffee at a table outside in the sunshine. Lovely

Google has indeed impressed me , in it's ability to show me a delightful interior ; clean;fresh - being able too zoom into every nook and cranny .You have quality and high standards!

·

Nice, roomy location with good variety of freshly prepared food

Absolutely spot on food. Hot food is great equally just as great is the guy Tony who serves the hot food. Toud go there for him alone.

·

The staff were very good, especially the guy doing the hot food. Reasonable sandwiches and it caters to city workers.

Had a nice cup of coffee at 2:15pm but got a very distinct message when the shop staff removed chairs from around my table and started brushing up under my feet. Won't be going there for a coffee again... cheers.

I recently purchased the festive baguette from here as the advert made my mouth water. Before I walked in I liaised with my fellow colleagues and they convinced me it would be worth the money. Let me tell you this it is not worth the money it was bang average at best. The reason for this I specifically asked for NO key word here guys NO! Red Onion as it sets off my headaches. So what does the colleague behind the counter do!!! YES YOU GUESSED IT THEY PUT THE RED ONION ONNNNNN!!!!! . Now i am sat here popping a paracetamol as i have a whopping headache!! The Baguette was dead, dry and flavorless, i can confirm i will not be attending here again. for future reference i will be spending my money with Jane , Jack and Craig at Out To Lunch. As you wereG.D.Jackson

One of the more up-market sandwich shop chains operating in the city, this branch of Philpott's caters to local office and service workers and provides a very good level of service and high quality ingredients. You pay for the privilege too, with above average prices. As you would expect, queues at lunchtime on weekdays are often quite long. I would recommend phoning your order through.
